Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and device for detecting a fault of signal processing equipment and an optical interface board on line. The signal processing equipment includes n function modules F1, F2, . . . Fn, and n fault detecting points T1, T2, . . . Tn for determining whether there is a fault in said n function modules, wherein n is a natural number. When the detecting result of said detecting point Ti indicates there is a fault in the function module Fi, the corresponding detecting points of other function modules directly associated with the function module Fi are detected continuously, and the reason of the fault is determined according to all the fault function modules. The present disclosure divides the equipment or the board into different modules in accordance with functions, a fault detecting point being set in each module.

Abstract: An electronic device enclosure includes an enclosure body, a bezel, a resilient locking clip, and an unlocking clip. An opening is defined in the enclosure body. The bezel assembly is mounted to the enclosure body and covers the opening. The resilient locking clip is attached to the enclosure body. A protrusion is located on the resilient clip. The unlocking clip is attached to the bezel assembly and is operable along a first direction. The unlocking clip is capable of being rotated from a first position to a second position. In the first position, the resilient locking clip blocks the bezel assembly from moving along the first direction. In the second position, the resilient clip is disengaged from the bezel by the unlocking clip.

Abstract: A method for managing access control list of computer systems includes the steps of receiving a user account login request of accessing an application system; validating the user account login request; obtaining a user access list of the user account from the database server if the user account login request is valid; loading the user access list of the user account in the management server temporarily, and creating a user identification; granting access rights to the user account to the application system according to the access list of the user account. Abstract: A method for searching and filtering Web pages is provided. The method includes the steps of: generating connection commands according to a search string transmitted from a client computer (50); generating a hyperlink list by executing the connection commands; generating extraction commands; extracting integrated links related to the search string in each hyperlink in the hyperlink list by executing the extraction commands; determining whether the extracted integrated links exist in a database (20) according to titles of the integrated links; deleting the integrated links that already exist in the database; downloading Web pages of the integrated links that do not exist in the database; determining whether there are any information irrelevant to the search string in the downloaded Web pages; and filtering out the information which are irrelevant to the search string. Abstract: The invention discloses a process for the production of monoglycerides by glycerolysis of methyl ester derived from animal or vegetable fat and oils which includes mixing a surplus of 0.1 to 3 moles of glycerols in relation to methyl ester, subjecting the reaction mixture to a reaction temperature between 130 to 160 at a vacuum of 200 to 400 mbar, adding of alkaline catalysts, stopping the reaction by fast cooling of the reaction mixture and the destruction of the alkaline catalyst when the quantity of glycerides has reached a concentration of mono and diglyceride of 40 to 60%, leaving the catalyst in the reaction mixture to catalyse the reaction downstream in a reactor, separating the surplus methyl ester and glycerol by distillation and stopping the reaction by fast cooling of the reaction mixture with reactor and the destruction of the alkaline catalyst when the quantity of glycerides has reached a concentration of 40 to 60% and the ratio of concentrations of mono and diglyceride lies between 3 to 10.

Abstract: A language identification and verification system is described whereby language identification is determined by finding the closest match of a speech utterance to multiple speaker sets. The language identification and verification system is implemented through use of a speaker identification/verification system as a baseline to find a set of well matched speakers in each of a plurality of languages. A comparison of unknown speech to speech features from such well-matched speakers is then made and a language decision is arrived on based on a closest match between the unknown speech features and speech features for such well matched reference speakers in a particular language.

Abstract: A speech coder apparatus operates to compress speech signals to a low bit rate. The apparatus includes a continuous speech recognizer (CSR) which has a memory for storing templates. Input speech is processed by the CSR where information in the speech is compared against the templates to provide an output digital signal indicative of recognized words, which signal is transmitted along a first path. There is further included a front end processor which is also responsive to the input speech signal for providing output digitized speech samples during a given frame interval. A side information encoder circuit responds to the output from the front end processor to provide at the output of the encoder a parameter signal indicative of the value of the pitch and word duration for each word as recognized by the CSR unit. The output of the encoder is transmitted as a second signal.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for recognizing an unknown speaker from a plurality of speaker candidates. Portions of speech from the speaker candidates and from the unknown speaker are sampled and digitized. The digitized samples are converted into frames of speech, each frame representing a point in an LPC-12 multi-dimensional speech space. Using a character covering algorithm, a set of frames of speech is selected, called characters, from the frames of speech of all speaker candidates. The speaker candidates' portions of speech are divided into smaller portions called segments. A smaller plurality of model characters for each speaker candidate is selected from the character set. For each set of model characters the distance from each speaker candidate's frame of speech to the closest character in the model set is determined and stored in a model histogram. When a model histogram is completed for a segment a distance D is found whereby at least a majority of frames have distances greater D.
