    Abstract: A multimedia audio/video system includes a multimedia audio/video transmitting end and a multimedia audio/video receiving end. The multimedia audio/video transmitting end includes a multimedia data generator and a first data converter. The multimedia data generator is used to generate a multimedia data conforming to a first transmission protocol. The first data converter is used to convert the multimedia data conforming to the first transmission protocol into a multimedia data conforming to a second transmission protocol. The multimedia audio/video receiving end includes a second data converter which is used to convert the multimedia data conforming to the second transmission protocol into the multimedia data conforming to the first transmission protocol. The multimedia data conforming to the first transmission protocol is transmitted via multiple cables, while the multimedia data conforming to the second transmission protocol is transmitted via a single cable.

The timing control circuitry is configured to generate a transmission packet according to a first customized content specification, where the transmission packet includes control information and brightness information. The timing control circuitry includes a differential circuit, where the differential circuit is configured to transmit the transmission packet according to a differential voltage level. The local-dimming control circuitry includes a receiving circuit electrically coupled to the differential circuit. The receiving circuit is configured to receive the transmission packet. The local-dimming control circuitry is configured to transmit a light source control signal according to the control information and the brightness information.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an image data transmission apparatus having synchronous data transmission mechanism. Output stage circuits respectively receive and store image data corresponding to a part of a display frame. A primary switch circuit is coupled to a primary output stage circuit of the output stage circuits so as to maintain a control voltage of a control terminal at a first level when a primary frame aligning signal having the latest timing is not received from the primary output stage circuit, and switches the control voltage to a second level when the primary frame aligning signal is received. The output stage circuits output the image data to an image data receiving apparatus to display the display frame synchronously when the output stage circuits receive the control voltage having the second level through voltage transmission paths having the same signal transmission time.
