Abstract: A method and system for locating an element from one or elements in a built environment is provided. The element can be located during one of a built phase, a partially built phase and an under-construction phase of the built environment. The method includes assigning a unique ID corresponding to each of the one or elements of the built environment. Thereafter, the method includes positioning the one or elements by linking the unique ID to one or more location attributes corresponding to each of the one or more elements. Further, the method includes extracting one or location attributes of an element to be located in the built environment. Finally, the method includes locating the element on a digital representation of the built environment. Further, the data corresponding to the one or more elements can be managed.
