Abstract: A cooking apparatus to effectively agitate and evenly distribute high-temperature air into a cooking chamber by use of a single driving fan and a plurality of driven fans. The cooking apparatus includes the cooking chamber, the driving fan arranged at a rear wall of the cooking chamber, a convection heater to surround the driving fan, the plurality of driven fans arranged on a circumference of the driving fan, and a fan cover having a plurality of suction holes and discharge holes. The driving fan is connected with a drive motor to rotate in accordance with an operation of the drive motor. The driven fans rotate by use of air streams generated when the driving fan rotates. The high-temperature air is evenly agitated in accordance with the rotation of the driven fans to be distributed into the cooking chamber via the discharge holes in all directions.

Abstract: A door damper. The door damper includes a rotational shaft rotatably coupled to a door, a rotating resistance unit to generate rotating resistance to the rotational shaft, and a latching device latched to the rotational shaft and the door so as to allow the door and the rotational shaft to rotate together in a predetermined region. The latching device includes a free rotating section enabling free rotation of the door at an initial stage of opening the door, and a latching section enabling the latching device to be latched to the rotational shaft and the door at a final stage of opening the door so as to allow the door and the rotational shaft to rotate together. With the door damper, the door of electronic appliances can be smoothly opened without impact, and can be easily closed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an oven that is capable of discharging hot air generated when cooling a door and heat generated in a cooking chamber through the lower end of the door. The oven includes a door having at least two separated air channels. The air channels comprise at least one first air channel to discharge hot air generated when cooling the door through the lower end of the door, and at least one second air channel to introduce air through the lower end of the door such that the door is cooled. In the housing is mounted a circulating fan. Between the circulating fan and the air channels is connected a channel connecting unit. As the circulating fan is rotated, air flows along the second air channel to cool the door. Hot air generated when cooling the door is introduced into the first air channel through the channel connecting unit, and is then discharged out of the oven through the lower end of the door.

Abstract: A heating apparatus for cooking using steam and a method of controlling the same. The heating apparatus includes a main body having a cooking chamber; a steam-generating device for supplying steam to the cooking chamber; and a water supply device for supplying water to the steam-generating device, having a water bucket for containing water; a water bucket-supporting device installed on the main body for supporting the water bucket, and including a space for containing an inlet of the water bucket such that the inlet can be soaked in the water when the water bucket is inserted into the water bucket-supporting device such that the inlet of the water bucket faces a bottom of the bucket-supporting device; a water supply pump for supplying the water of the water bucket-supporting device to the steam-generating device; and water supply pipes for guiding the water from the water bucket-supporting device to the steam-generating device.

Abstract: An oven, effectively and rapidly cooling a door by passing a sufficient quantity of cooling air through the door, is disclosed. The oven includes an outer case, an inner case, a door opening and closing the inner case, and a blower chamber having a cooling fan and provided at the upper side of the inner case. The door includes an inner plate and a frame to form an opened lower end. The frame has holes formed in the upper side to flowing air discharged by the cooling fan between the inner plate and an outer plate. A vent hole communicating with the blower chamber is provided in the upper end of the cooking chamber to pass hot air of the cooking chamber through the vent hole. Around the vent hole, a partition member is provided for preventing the hot air from being mixed with air discharged by cooling fan.

Abstract: A steam oven having a steam distributing unit which is installed in the steam oven and evenly distributes steam generated by a steam generator into a cooking cavity, which is defined in a cabinet of the steam oven. The steam oven has the steam generator, the cooking cavity, a steam feed pipe to feed the steam generated by the steam generator into the cooking cavity, and a steam distributing pipe to distribute the steam from the steam feed pipe into the cooking cavity. The steam oven additionally has a sectional area control part provided in the steam feed pipe, to control a flow speed of the steam in the steam feed pipe.
