  • Publication number: 20240146655
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for identifying a source of congestion in a network using postcard-based telemetry. Sampled packets from a packet flow are received by a network management collector The packet flow emanates from a host into a network ingress point of an ingress networking device. The packet flow flows through a network made up of intermediate networking devices and terminates at a network egress point. At least a portion of the one or more sampled packets is analyzed to determine whether a congestion indication has been set by a networking device. In response to determining that the congestion indication has been set a congestion notification is provided to a network administrator. The congestion notification provides an indication that the networking device has detected network congestion.

  • Publication number: 20230144833
Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a system is described. The system includes a hot isostatic pressing system. The hot isostatic pressing system includes a pressure vessel to receive an additively manufactured 3D steel object and a pressure source to apply isostatic pressure to the 3D steel object disposed therein. The isostatic pressing system also includes a heater to heat the 3D steel object while in the pressure vessel. The system also includes a controller. The controller 1) determines characteristics of the 3D steel object, 2) determines, a temperature, pressure, and duration for isostatically treating the 3D steel object, and 3) activates the pressure source and heater to apply a determined pressure and temperature to the 3D steel object based on determined characteristics of the 3D steel object.

  • Patent number: 11210629
Abstract: A system and method for optimizing management of inventory data is provided. A set of variables required for operating an inventory is determined. The set of variables represents one or more parameters associated with stock maintenance data of items present in the inventory. Further, a set of actionable variables from the set of variables is determined based on ranking two or more pre-determined variables from a set of pre-determined variables with respect to one or more target variables. The set of actionable variables represents one or more variables from the ranked variables. Lastly, a correlation is computed between the inventory stock maintenance data and the set of actionable variables based on an optimization model. The optimization model is trained and generated based on the set of actionable variables.

  • Patent number: 11016794
Abstract: Peripheral device access support in a distributed computing resource cluster is described. In one example, an application can be supported in a container on a virtual machine in a distributed computing resource cluster. A need or requisite of the container for access to a peripheral device is identified. A device profile is created for the container and associated with the isolation environment. The device profile can be relied upon to check and confirm the compliance of one or peripheral devices on various host machines in the resource cluster. First, one or more host machines having access to the peripheral device are identified in the resource cluster. Then, a check for compliance of the peripheral device on one or more of the host machines is performed based on the device profile. The container is instantiated for the application on one of the host machines based on the check for compliance.

  • Publication number: 20200097964
Abstract: Systems and methods for validating partner files using local partner entity system resources are disclosed. The partner files may comprise profile files, daily files, or cycle files. The partner files may be validated locally on a partner entity system by invoking a validation engine. The validation engine may be configured to perform format validations and data validations on the partner files, and/or on individual data elements of each partner file. In response to determining a validation error in either the format validation or the data validation, the validation engine may generate a validation report comprising data regarding the validation error.

  • Patent number: 9929897
Abstract: The problem of being unable to run microBFD using an IPv6 address over any member links of a layer 2 LAG when the LAG is DOWN (and its IPv6 address becomes or is TENTATIVE), is solved by running DAD for the address configured for the microBFD once the individual link is in DISTRIBUTING or STANDBY state and triggering (or starting) microBFD once the DAD for that address completes successfully. Further, member links of the LAG may be permitted to continue running microBFD even if the LAG interface is DOWN and even if some other member links (but not all member links) of the LAG are DOWN.
