  • Patent number: 12586389
Abstract: Techniques for text identification in layered digital content are described. In an implementation, an item of digital content is received including a plurality of layers. A text layer is identified in the item of digital content from the plurality of layers. A text channel image is generated by isolating the text layer from the plurality of layers. A text identification is then generated based on the text channel image using a page decomposition model, the page decomposition model trained using machine learning.

  • Publication number: 20260030440
Abstract: A method comprises obtaining an unstructured document and font information for the document, wherein the unstructured document includes a table; generating location information for an element of the table based on the font information; and generating a structured representation of the table based on the location information.

  • Patent number: 12340166
Abstract: Techniques for document decomposition based on determined logical visual layering of document content. The techniques include iteratively identifying a plurality of logical visual layers of a document resulting in each logical visual layer being associated with one or more document content objects of the document. The one or more document content objects associated with each logical visual layer are annotated to be indicative of the associated logical visual layer. The document is then displayed with an indication of one or more of the annotated document objects.

Date of Patent: June 24, 2025
    Assignee: Adobe Inc.
