  • Publication number: 20240163300
Abstract: In various embodiments, network traffic data associated with an industrial network is monitored based on a networking event rule set related to defined networking events. The network traffic data is related to a set of asset devices in communication via the industrial network, and the networking event rule set is used to determine a networking event associated with the set of asset devices. A cybersecurity event level for the networking event is determined based on a comparison between a networking event feature set for the networking event and a predefined cybersecurity event feature set for a set of predefined cybersecurity events. In response to a determination that the cybersecurity event level for the networking event satisfies a predefined cybersecurity threat level threshold, a modification is made to one or more configuration parameters for one or more asset devices from the set of asset devices associated with the networking event.

  • Patent number: 11689012
Abstract: Described are system and method embodiments for shield fault detection to protect the cable, components and other circuits connected to the cable shield, and to avoid high short circuit currents flowing from a power source to ground during unexpected events. A threshold voltage detector and a slope detector may be used to sense the voltage on a shield pin switchably coupled to ground via a shield ground. Method embodiments to distinguish the shield ground switch current caused by a shield fault from normal operation are also discussed. In certain situations, a weak ground path is established first to sense or identify a valid attachment on the cable before establishing a strong ground path. The disclosed embodiments, separately or in combination, may effectively detect shield fault with improved performance.

  • Patent number: 11090674
Abstract: A paint robot having a sprayer that is substantially fixed in an orientation in which the spray fan is perpendicular to the wall surface may be ineffective at painting portions of a wall that are not substantially flat (e.g., flat). These portions may include one or more protrusions and/or recesses such as, for example: (1) a chair rail or other suitable piece of molding; (2) one or more window ledges and/or sills; (3) one or more exit signs; (4) one or more thermostats; (5) etc. As such, it may be desirable to incorporate an articulating spray head (e.g., a pivoting sprayer) into an automated mobile painting system in order to, for example, paint the upper and lower portions of the wall by angling the paint sprayer to paint over and/or under the various protrusions which may exist on the wall as discussed above.

  • Publication number: 20200408446
Abstract: A refrigeration system for cooling an object and preventing system overheating. The system includes an evaporator coil configured to thermally communicate with the object, where the object is cooled by a refrigerant flowing through the evaporator coil. A compressor receives the refrigerant downstream from the evaporator coil and increases a pressure of the refrigerant. A condenser receives the refrigerant downstream from the compressor, where the refrigerant is cooled by flowing through the condenser. An expansion valve receives the refrigerant downstream from the condenser and decreases the pressure of the refrigerant, where the evaporator coil receives the refrigerant downstream from the expansion valve. An bypass coolant valve also receives the refrigerant downstream from the condenser.
