Abstract: Embodiments of a method for operating a customized chatbot using artificial intelligence is disclosed, the method comprising: receiving a message via one of a plurality of channels, each channel being communicatively coupled to one or more applications executing in one or more computing devices; identifying a meaning of the message using at least one natural language processing algorithm; retrieving information from a knowledge base, the information being relevant to the identified meaning and comprising attributes of a plurality of intents; generating, using at least one machine learning model, a response recommending an action to fulfill one in the plurality of intents, the at least one machine learning model using the information retrieved from the knowledge base to derive the recommended action; displaying the response in a user interface; and performing the recommended action.
