  • Publication number: 20230173514
Abstract: A spray coating apparatus that applies a coating material onto outer surfaces of glass objects includes a coating material source that includes a coating material. A spray nozzle assembly includes a spray nozzle fluidly connected to the coating material source. The spray nozzle is arranged and configured to direct the coating material in a first direction toward the glass object and provide an overspray amount of the coating material by the glass object such that the overspray amount bypasses a non-line of sight area of the glass object. A turn nozzle assembly includes a turn nozzle fluidly connected to a pressurized gas source. The turn nozzle is arranged and configured to direct pressurized gas in a second direction different than the first direction toward the non-line of sight area of the glass package to redirect the coating material onto the non-line of sight area.

  • Publication number: 20220197842
Abstract: A scheme to enhance USB-C port policy by dynamically entering optimal USB-C alternate mode with an informed feedback mechanism to OSPM which influences the USB-C port DPM. In some embodiments, when a USB4 device is connected to a port, the scheme parses the alternate modes and power characteristics from the class descriptor information of the enumerated device. In some embodiments, the parsed information is provided as a feedback to the OSPM that instructs the USB-C/PD DPM to enter or switch mode that shall meet the policy criteria of the OS configuration in a dynamic command control from the OS. In some embodiments, the USB-C DPM dynamically chooses to enter an optimal mode based on the power and thermal conditions information available in the embedded controller and indicate the OS about the changes. As such, the OS is aware of the USB operation mode.

  • Publication number: 20220064046
Abstract: An enclosure for providing a controlled environment includes a central plane extending through a top end of the enclosure and a bottom end of the enclosure and bisecting the enclosure along a width of the enclosure, an inlet at the bottom end of the enclosure having an inlet width, Winlet, an enclosure wall extending from the inlet to the top end of the enclosure, an entry port at the top end of the enclosure, and an outlet between the entry port and the chamber region of the enclosure wall. The enclosure wall comprises a chamber region and a transition region between the inlet and the chamber region. The width of the chamber region, Wchamber, is substantially constant through the chamber region. The width of the enclosure in the transition region decreases from Wchamber to Winlet, and a ratio of Winlet to Wchamber is from 1:2 to 1:5.

  • Publication number: 20210055777
Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a host controller to implement one or more layers of a Universal Serial Bus (USB)-based protocol to provide an interconnect for a plurality of devices. The host controller is to monitor control plane messages on the interconnect, detect, in the control plane messages, a power state change command for a device coupled to the interconnect, wherein the devices utilizes a tunneled protocol on the interconnect, and modify power distribution for one or more other devices of the interconnect based on detecting the power state change command.

  • Patent number: 8855194
Abstract: A video processor controlled by a set of non-shadow registers is provided. A list of updates for one or more of the non-shadow registers may be prepared in a memory module. A frame buffer is updated with video data for a display coupled to the video processor. A blanking interval is detected after updating the frame buffer. A direct memory access engine is triggered to transfer the list of updates from the memory module to the non-shadow registers during the blanking interval.

  • Publication number: 20130188096
Abstract: This invention allows the application software to submit multiple (N) frames belonging to different and/or same channels in one submission. The driver maintains a request queue and serializes requests and manages the hardware utilization. The driver informs the software through a callback function when the entire submission has been serviced.

  • Publication number: 20120278814
Abstract: A method for sharing a resource between multiple processors within a single integrated circuit that share a memory is described. A command structure is built in shared memory by a client on a first processor for a service offered by a second processor, wherein the first processor and second processor have access to the shared memory. Attention from the second processor is requested. The command in shared memory is decoded by a host on the second processor in response to the request for attention. The service is performed on the second processor according to the command. The client on the first processor is notified when the service is complete.

  • Publication number: 20120274856
Abstract: A driver for operating an electronic device including a program controlled data processor and video processing hardware responsive to requests to perform operations on video frames is provided. A frame list is formed with pointers to a plurality of buffers for a corresponding plurality of video channels. A request is formed by an application program running on the data processor for a first operation on each of the plurality of frames in the first frame list. The request of the application program and the first frame list is submitted to a driver for the video processing hardware for the plurality of channels. A notification is received from the driver when the video processing hardware has completed the operation on less than all of the plurality of frames.
