  • Publication number: 20230375430
Abstract: A sensor having a converging shape (e.g., ellipsoidal) that causes a flow stream velocity to increase from the entry towards the center (narrowest region), in line to Bernoulli's principle. The sensor includes a trapped volume that can be used to detect gas molecules. The positioning of the sensor in a narrow region can expose it to higher velocity and higher ppm, which in turn lead to a better exchange of molecules between ambient and the void in front of a gas sensing element within the sensor, thereby improving the sensor's ability to detect gas molecules at lower concentrations and with a higher speed of response. The shape of the emission detection device allows for flow convergence regardless of the wind direction in 360°.

  • Publication number: 20220282441
Abstract: A transportable, flexible rope net gabion useful for scour protection includes a lifting ring, a plurality of polymer ropes connected to the lifting ring, a polymer net connected to the polymer ropes, and a plurality of stones or boulders. Up to 45% of the volume of the polymer net is packed with the stones or boulders, so that the rope net gabion can be evenly positioned around a structure to be supported. The polymer ropes, the polymer net, or both the polymer ropes and the polymer net are made using virgin high density polyethylene (HDPE).

  • Patent number: 11250206
Abstract: A system and method for converting a form to an action card format for a chat-based application is described. The system accesses an unfilled form and identifies one or more converters based on a format of the unfilled form. The system then identifies fields in the unfilled form using the one or more converters. A document model is generated based on the fields and a layout of the fields. The system determines the layout based on a visual alignment and logical relation of the fields. The system forms a digital interactive workflow based on the document model.

  • Publication number: 20210230825
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an eco-friendly, flexible rope net gabion (5) for facilitating scour protection. Said flexible rope net gabion is packed to the extent of 45% with rocks or boulders. The packing to the extent of 45% allows the flexible rope net gabion to be evenly position around the structure (100) to provide uniform anchorage.

  • Patent number: 8135683
Abstract: A redundancy elimination mechanism is provided, which applies aspects of duplicate block elimination and delta encoding at the block level. The redundancy elimination mechanism divides file objects into content-defined blocks or “chunks.” Identical chunks are suppressed. The redundancy elimination mechanism also performs resemblance detection on remaining chunks to identify chunks with sufficient redundancy to benefit from delta encoding of individual chunks. Any remaining chunks that do not benefit from delta encoding are compressed. Resemblance detection is optimized by merging groups of fingerprints into super fingerprints. This merging can be constructed to ensure that if two objects have a single super fingerprint in common, they are extremely likely to be substantially similar.

  • Publication number: 20060053347
Abstract: A method for diagnosing problems with protection of a data source and recovery of the same. The method includes diagnosing a copy of data located at the storage location and diagnosing a temporal version of the copy of data. Based on the diagnosis it is determined whether an error or a warning was detected. If either were detected a response is provided with a suggested solution.

  • Publication number: 20060053304
Abstract: A method for creating a group plan for protecting an object located at a production location is provided. A selection of an object for which a group plan is to be created is received along with protection intents for the selected object. The protection intents are translated into a group plan for protecting the selected object.
