  • Publication number: 20260075684
Abstract: An objective of the present disclosure is to provide an energy storage device which can be stably operated during a power outage. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the energy storage device comprises: a battery connected to a solar panel and system power, and storing electric energy received from the solar panel or the system power in a direct current form or outputting stored electric energy to one or more loads; a system relay capable of connecting or blocking a power path connected to the system power; and a load relay capable of connecting or blocking a power path connected to the loads. When an abnormality occurs in the system power, the system relay is shut off to supply electric energy produced by the solar panel or stored in the battery to a preset load. The load relay is shut off when the charging amount of the battery becomes lower than an off reference value.

  • Publication number: 20250105645
Abstract: A load source that includes: a housing, a battery integrally disposed within the housing, a load source computing device, and a battery management system associated with the battery. The load source is configured for one or both of: the battery management system configured to identify a first error based at least in part on a first set of data associated with the load source and report the first error to the load source computing device to cause a change in operation of the load source, and the load source computing device configured to identify a second error based at least in part on a second set of data associated with the load source and report the second error to the battery management system to cause a change in operation of the battery.

  • Publication number: 20250075943
Abstract: A method of determining an operating configuration of a water heater that includes: a power cord connected to a receptacle; a housing; a battery disposed within the housing, and a water tank configured to hold a volume of water and having one or more heating elements. The method includes obtaining power availability data; and determining an operating configuration including one of: a full power configuration where the water tank operates at a maximum power greater than 120V input voltage based on power from both the receptacle and the battery or power solely from the battery, and a reduced power configuration where the water tank operates at a reduced power less than the maximum power, based on power solely from the receptacle or power solely from the battery.

  • Publication number: 20250071863
Abstract: A method of determining an operating configuration of a stove having: a cooktop having a plurality of heating regions; a power cord connected to a receptacle; a housing; a battery disposed within the housing, where the obtained stove use data comprises information regarding use of at least one of the heating regions of the cooktop. The method includes determining an operating configuration based at least in part on obtained stove use data and obtained power availability data, the determined operating configuration including one of: a full power configuration where the heating regions operate at a maximum power greater than 120V input voltage based on power from both the receptacle and the battery or power solely from the battery, and a reduced power configuration where the heating regions operate at a reduced power less than the maximum power, based on power solely from the receptacle or power solely from the battery.
