  • Patent number: 7565821
Abstract: The present invention relates to a spacer fabric with advanced cushionability, flexibility, and thermal conductivity, and a method of fabricating the same. In accordance with the present invention, the spacer fabric is useful as a car seat fabric. In particular, the spacer fabric is applicable to a car seat equipped with an actuator and a heating/cooling apparatus inside, due to the advanced flexibility for transferring the actuator moving effect to the body, the increased cushionability for minimizing the hardness of the surface of the device, and the high thermal conductivity for effectively transferring the quick heating/cooling effect to the body.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 3, 2007
Date of Patent: July 28, 2009
    Assignee: Kolon Glotech, Inc.
    Inventors: Pyung-Yul Park, Sang-Min Nah, Jong-Hyun Hwang

  • Patent number: 6669888
Abstract: Process of making polypropylene fibers obtained from an isotactic polypropylene homopolymer with an isotactic index of 90-99%, through melt-spinning or through drawing after melt-spinning, and shows two differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) endothermic peaks between 155 and 170 ° C. When being thermally bonded with each other, the fibers are made into non-woven fabrics which have excellent strength in addition to being soft. A high quality of the non-woven fabrics can be produced in a high speed carding machine with high yields.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 29, 2001
Date of Patent: December 30, 2003
Inventors: Pyung Yul Park, Won Jun Chey
