  • Publication number: 20140103020
Abstract: The electric cigarette lighter is a cigarette lighter that is dimensioned and configured to simulate a cigarette, thus allowing the cigarette lighter to be easily carried within a conventional pack of cigarettes. The electric cigarette lighter includes a cylindrical housing having opposed upper and lower ends, and an electric heating element mounted on the upper end thereof. At least one rechargeable battery is disposed within the cylindrical housing. The at least one rechargeable battery is in electrical communication with the electric heating element for selective operation thereof. A first indicator light is mounted on the sidewall of the cylindrical housing for visually indicating remaining charge of the at least one to rechargeable battery. A charging socket is mounted in the lower end of the cylindrical housing for electrical connection to an external battery charger. The charging socket is in electrical communication with the at least one rechargeable battery.

  • Patent number: 8640381
Abstract: A manually operable flying insect trap includes an elongated hollow cylindrical body having two generally closed ends and a small orifice in each of the ends. A vacuum device including a bellows, first and second ends of an intermediate pleated portion. The bellows also has a compressed state and an expanded state and is disposed adjacent a first of the opposite ends of the body with a small opening adjacent to and in communication with the small orifice in the first of the opposite ends. The funnel shape trap portion is also provided with a small orifice in the narrow portion thereof, a cone shaped piece of fly paper is attached to the inside of the tunnel shaped trap. Finally, a manually activatible mechanism is provided for expanding the bellows to draw air into or out of the body.

  • Patent number: 8500919
Abstract: The portable washer for beverage containers is a hand-carried device for providing clean coffee cups or other beverage containers to a social group where facilities with a large supply of clean containers may not be available. The portable washer includes a self-contained water supply and catch basin for used water, and internal electrical power to drive a plurality of rotary brushes for the mechanical scrubbing of containers. An electrically powered water heating element and water pump are also provided. The brushes are actuated by a pushrod switch extending up from the central rotary brush, the water pump and heater being powered by a separate master switch. Water is pumped through the tubular rotary brush supports to spray hot water from the brushes during washing operations. A removable splash guard and cover are provided. The cover has a carrying handle and external racks for the carriage of beverage containers.

  • Patent number: 8434577
Abstract: The electronic traveling suitcase includes a self-weighing feature that displays its weight (including contents) in pounds or kilograms, as selected by the user, on an LCD screen. Security features include a lock, which can be digitally programmed. Moreover, a programmable electronic traveler's identity and password are provided for additional security. An electric motor powers wheels disposed on the suitcase. The motor is powered by a rechargeable battery. An infrared remote control allows the user to control the suitcase from a distance. A light ribbon is disposed on the exterior periphery of the suitcase and flashes in a unique pattern to allow the user to find the bags among a plurality of bags. A built-in alarm system is provided and triggers when unauthorized personnel handle the suitcase. The device remotely notifies the user when it is being stolen or tampered with. The unit will shock the unauthorized person or thief.

  • Publication number: 20120298654
Abstract: A method for reducing the destructive force of a hurricane includes and/or consists of the steps of providing a pair of magnetrons, each of which produces a frequency of 2,450 mghz at 1,000 to 3,000 watts and deploying the magnetron in space over a coastal area. The method also includes the step of producing a source of electrical energy such as solar cells that produces between 1,000 and 3,000 watts for powering the magnetrons and deploying the source of energy in orbit in the proximity of the magnetron. Finally, the method includes the step of producing a frequency of 2,450 mghz and directing or focusing the frequency on the air surrounding the eye of a hurricane as the hurricane approaches a coastal area and at an upper level of the hurricane.
