Abstract: This disclosure provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: In a satellite communication scenario, a terminal device obtains unavailability period information, where the unavailability period information indicates a period in which a reference point is in unavailability of a satellite. Further, the terminal device determines a period of a first timer based on the unavailability period information, where the first timer is used by the terminal device to send a message to a core network device through the satellite. According to the method, when determining the period of the first timer, the terminal device can consider the period in which the reference point is in the unavailability of the satellite, to avoid an inappropriate specified period of the timer, and improve performance of sending the message to the core network device by the terminal device through the satellite.

Abstract: An information determining method and a related device. In the method, a first network element receives first information from a first terminal device, where the first information includes first indication information. The first network element determines, based on the first indication information, a first access network device connected to the first access network device, determines second information based on historical statistical information of a bandwidth between the first access network device and the first terminal device, and further sends the second information to a second network element, where the second information is useable for determining a first code rate, and the first code rate indicates a code rate of media data of first media received by the first terminal device. This improves accuracy and real-time performance of code rate adjustment of the media data, and further improve effectiveness of the code rate adjustment.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a synthesis method of ?-nicotinamide mononucleotide (?-NMN) and an intermediate thereof. In the present disclosure, phospholipid metabolism enzymes phospholipase D (PLD) and phospholipase C (PLC) widely present in the biosphere are used as catalysts to prepare ?-NMN through two-step enzymolysis or one-pot synthesis; and an intermediate, namely phosphatidyl nicotinamide riboside (PNR), is obtained during the two-step enzymolysis. The present disclosure has simple reaction steps, low production cost, and environmental friendliness, and is suitable for large-scale industrial production.

In this method, a user plane function network element may receive first data and second data, determines a sending priority of the second data relative to the first data packet, and sends indication information to an access network network element. The indication information herein may indicate the sending priority of the second data relative to the first data packet. Based on this solution, the access network network element may send the first data and the second data based on the indication information, and may preferentially send the retransmitted data to reduce the waiting delay during data transmission.

In this method, a first network element may receive a first data packet of a first service from an application server. The first network element determines first sequence information of a second data packet. Then, the first network element determines a third data packet, and sends the third data packet to a terminal device. The second data packet is a to-be-discarded data packet of the first service, the first sequence information indicates a sequence of the second data packet, and the third data packet includes the first sequence information. Continuity and real-time performance of a service of the terminal device can be improved according to this application.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus. First information for determining redundancy of a PDU set by an access network device may be carried in a data packet belonging to a protocol data unit set, that is, the first information is carried in the data packet. This enables dynamic determination of the redundancy of the PDU set, allowing for more flexible adaptation to redundancy determination in a wider range of scenarios, and also saves resources required for transmitting the first information. In addition, the access network device may send some data packets in a plurality of data packets based on the redundancy of the PDU set, thereby saving air interface resources.
