  • Publication number: 20230267292
Abstract: An automated checkout system modifies received images of machine-readable labels to improve the performance of a label detection model that the system uses to decode item identifiers encoded in the machine-readable labels. For example, the automated checkout system may transform subregions of an image of a machine-readable label to adjust for distortions in the image's depiction of the machine-readable label. Similarly, the automated checkout system may identify readable regions within received images of machine-readable labels and apply a label detection model to those readable regions. By modifying received images of machine-readable labels, these techniques improve on existing computer-vision technologies by allowing for the effective decoding of machine-readable labels based on real-world images using relatively clean training data.

  • Publication number: 20230262805
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for triggered multi-link (ML) access coordination. A station (STA) ML device (MLD) can establish a preferred triggering link (PTL) with an access point (AP) MLD where the PTL is the preferred link for receiving triggering frames. The STA MLD can transmit uplink (UL) frames via the PTL in response to a trigger frame. Subsequently, the STA MLD can determine that the PTL is busy, and transmit enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) UL frames on a non-PTL link. In a power save mode, the STA MLD can use the PTL to exchange UL and downlink (DL) frames. Multiple PTLs can be established supporting concurrent trigger frames, and different ranges of traffic IDs (TIDs) can be used for each PTL. The STA MLD can utilize AP MLD link pair information to receive a DL retransmission corresponding to one TID via both links of the AP MLD link pair.

  • Publication number: 20230252134
Abstract: A new approach is proposed to support integration of EDR data from a plurality of EDR tools/sources into an Open XDR framework in an automated manner. First, EDR data generated by each of the plurality of EDR tools covering a plurality of assets is ingested into the Open XDR framework. The ingested EDR data is then normalized through a unified EDR data model. The normalized EDR data is further enriched with one or more new data fields to better correlate the EDR normalized data from the plurality of EDR tools. A plurality of alerts are then generated from the normalized and enriched data along one or more alert pathways to improve fidelity of the plurality of alerts. The plurality of alerts are correlated with the contextual information of the plurality of assets as well as information from other data sources to identify a set of incidents of suspicious activities.
