    Abstract: A backlight module and a liquid crystal display device are provided. The backlight module includes a positioning structure disposed in one side of a flexible circuit board away from a back plate. The positioning structure is disposed outside an area corresponding to a light-emitting chip, and an anti-positioning structure is disposed in the optical film, so that the positioning structure disposed in the side of the light-emitting chip can be matched with the anti-positioning structure correspondingly. The optical film is positioned and fixed, so that the positioning of the optical film is realized and a width of a frame of the backlight module is reduced.
