  • Patent number: 12683150
Abstract: The present application provides a high-nickel ternary positive electrode active material, which comprises a core Li1+a[LixCoyMnzMb]O2, a fast ionic conductor Li?AlXSiYO4 of a first shell layer, an oxide of an element R of a second shell layer, and a transition layer LipRqOw formed between the first shell layer and the second shell layer. In the high-nickel ternary positive electrode active material of the present application, the surface impurity lithium amount is significantly reduced, and by creatively converting the surface impurity lithium into effective components in the fast ionic conductors Li?AlXSiYO4 and LipRqOw which accelerate the intercalation/deintercalation of lithium ions in the core material, the decomposition and gas production of an electrolyte solution caused by the surface impurity lithium is greatly improved, such that a high-nickel ternary lithium-ion battery has high energy density as well as good cycle performance and safety performance.

  • Publication number: 20260196706
Abstract: A dual-band circularly polarized antenna integrated with a thermal protection system includes a thermal protection system and an artificial reflecting surface. The thermal protection system is a planar double-layer thermal protection sheet and covers the dual-band circularly polarized antenna to isolate the antenna from an external heat source. The artificial reflecting surface is positioned beneath an antenna substrate to replace a ground plane of the antenna, spaced apart from the antenna by a specific distance and configured to restore the circular polarization performance of the antenna degraded in the presence of the thermal protection system and the ground plane. By replacing the ground plane of the antenna with the artificial reflecting surface, the performance of the circularly polarized antenna may be effectively improved without altering the thermal protection system, and the overall electric performance and thermal protection performance of the system are well balanced.

  • Patent number: 12674950
Abstract: Fiber optic ribbons and methods of making a fiber optic ribbon. The fiber optic ribbon includes one or more first multicore optical fibers each having a first core pattern and a first draw direction and a like number of second multicore optical fibers each having a second core pattern that is the same as the first core pattern and a second draw direction that is opposite the first draw direction. The first multicore optical fibers and the second multicore optical fibers are arranged relative to each other so that the first core pattern has a mirror-image symmetry with the second core pattern at both a first end and a second end of the fiber optic ribbon. Core polarity is thereby maintained between fiber segments without regard to the ribbon direction of the fiber optic ribbons in each fiber segment.

  • Publication number: 20260141615
Abstract: Approaches presented herein provide for the support of distorted cameras in 3D scene reconstruction. Objects in a scene can be represented by 3D Gaussian particles. To determine which 3D Gaussian particles contribute to individual pixels of an image to be rendered, an unscented transform-based approach can be used to project representative sigma points for the 3D Gaussian particles onto a 2D camera plane. The 3D Gaussian particles determined to potentially contribute to a given pixel can then have rays traced to determine a segment of intersection of the ray across a 3D Gaussian particle, and a value corresponding to the point of maximum response across that segment can be returned as a contribution value. The various contribution values for each pixel can then be blended to provide an output color value.

  • Publication number: 20260029580
Abstract: A method and system for laser cleaving an optical fiber. The method includes applying a non-diffracting beam to the optical fiber to create a plurality of perforations therein by pulsing and scanning the non-diffracting beam across the optical fiber. The system includes a laser, an optical assembly that receives a laser beam from the laser and outputs the non-diffracting beam, and one or more translation stages configured to scan the non-diffracting beam across the optical fiber such that the plurality of perforations are created in the optical fiber to define the perforation plane. Penetration depth of the non-diffracting beam is controlled by adjusting one or more parameters of the non-diffracting beam to avoid damage to the core region of the optical fiber.
