    Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for infrastructure and peer-to-peer (P2P) medium access sharing. Some embodiments enable an access point (AP) to assist associated stations (STAs) in accessing a channel. In some embodiments, an AP can receive a request for coordinated transmission for peer-to-peer (P2P) communications, determine a bandwidth available for use during a transmit opportunity (TXOP), and allocate, from the bandwidth, a first subset of one or more channels for infrastructure communications and a second subset of one or more channels for the P2P communications responsive to the request. The AP can transmit to a STA, a first signal corresponding to the second subset of one or more channels for the P2P communications, indicating that the second subset of one or more channels can be used for P2P communications during the TXOP.

In one example, a computer system may obtain, from a management entity, configuration information specifying a unicast service address associated with a service node capable of providing a network service. In response to detecting a service request from the virtualized computing instance, the computer system may generate a modified service request that (a) is destined for the unicast service address and (b) includes a validation identifier (ID) associated with the virtualized computing instance. The modified service request may be forwarded towards the service node to cause the service node to perform validation based on the validation ID to determine whether to provide the network service. In response to detecting a service response from the service node, the service response, or a modified service response, may be forwarded towards the virtualized computing instance.

    Abstract: Multicore fiber optical cabling systems and methods of making same. The cabling system includes a multicore optical fiber that is configured to carry duplex signals in symmetric core pairs. Each symmetric core pair is contained within a common cladding, and the cores of each symmetric core pair are placed symmetrically about an axis of symmetry in the end face of the optical fiber. At each end of the multicore optical fiber, one of the paired cores carries one half of a duplex optical signal, and the other core carries the other half of the duplex optical signal. The axis of symmetry of each multicore optical fiber in a connectorized cable is aligned with a key-axis of the connector. The end faces of the multicore optical fibers may be arranged in one or more rows or columns to define a high density connector interface.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an organic silicon nano-precursor medium transmission inhibitor and its preparation method and use. The organic silicon nano-precursor medium transmission inhibitor is composed of an organic silicon and its derivatives, a catalyst, a dispersant, a stabilizer, a surfactant, and water. The organic silicon nano-precursor medium transmission inhibitor in-situ generates nanoparticles during a hydration process. The nanoparticles not only have a hydrophobic function, but also can effectively fill the pores of the concrete, which effectively solves a problem in which a hydrophobic material in a state of full water cannot reduce the diffusion of an erosive medium. The problems such as uneven dispersion and poor stability of nanoparticles added can be effectively solved by in-situ generating the nanoparticles, thereby effectively improving the ion corrosion resistance performance of the concrete.
