  • Publication number: 20250191189
Abstract: According to an aspect, there is provided an apparatus for use in analysing ultrasound image data of a subject, the apparatus comprising a memory comprising instruction data representing a set of instructions; and a processor configured to communicate with the memory and to execute the set of instructions, wherein the set of instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: obtain contrast-enhanced ultrasound image data comprising a temporal sequence of frames; estimate at least one time point corresponding to at least one event; select a sample of frames from the plurality of frames based on the at least one estimated time point; and classify the sample of frames to derive a feature.

  • Publication number: 20240212132
Abstract: A mechanism for identifying the presence/absence of one or more lesions in a plurality of ultrasound images. The ultrasound images are processed to identify regions of interest in each image, each region of interest representing a part of the ultrasound image suspected to depict a lesion. Similar regions of interest are grouped together, and the groups of similar regions are then processed using a machine-learning method to predict whether or not they contain a lesion of interest. Thus, a two-step process for identifying a lesion of interest is performed.

  • Publication number: 20240008854
Abstract: A system, method and a tangible, non-transitory computer readable medium adapted to be executed by a processor for providing contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) images is described. The CEUS system includes an ultrasound probe adapted to provide the ultrasound images; a processor; a tangible, non-transitory computer-readable medium that stores instructions, which when executed by the processor causes the processor to: determine out-of-plane frames of the ultrasound images; remove the out-of-plane frames from the ultrasound images based on a criterion to provide an optimized set of frames; and a display in communication with the processor and configured to display the optimized set of frames.

  • Publication number: 20190180866
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to time allocation of a clinical process. It is proposed in the present invention to introduce statistical significance as an indicator of the real improvement of activities in the modified time allocation against the original time allocation to achieve a statistically meaningful time allocation.

  • Publication number: 20110254845
Abstract: The present invention proposes an image processing method and an image processing apparatus, in which an object of interest is selected in a three-dimensional scene by using information on a section parallel to a sight line, and a surface is generated to divide the line of sight passing through the object into two parts, so as to display the user-interested object through an opaque area by establishing different rendering parameters for the two parts of the sight line.
