Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system (1) for brewing ingredients in a solvent, said system comprising: -a first unit (5) for measuring a change of the electro-conductivity (?EC) of said solvent, -a second unit (6) for comparing said change of the electro-conductivity (?EC) with a predetermined threshold (TH), to generate a signal (S) indicating that the ingredients should be separated from the solvent. This system allows determining when the brewing of ingredients has to be stopped, without the need for a user to have a preset brewing time duration.

Abstract: The present invention relates to pseudotyped retrovirus-like particles or retroviral vectors comprising both engineered envelope glycoproteins derived from a virus of the Paramyxoviridae family fused to a cell targeting domain and fused to a functional domain. The present invention also relates to the use of said pseudotyped retrovirus-like particles or retroviral vectors to selectively modulate the activity of specific subsets of cells, in particular of specific immune cells. These pseudotyped retrovirus-like particles or retroviral vectors are particularly useful for gene therapy, immune therapy and/or vaccination.

The plurality of landing gears are configured to transform between a flight configuration and a surface configuration. In the flight configuration, the landing gears are extending laterally away from the central body and not in contact with a surface below the central body. In the surface configuration, the landing gears are extending towards the surface below the central body. When the landing gears are in the surface configuration, the landing gears are configured to support a weight of the central body on the surface and transport the UAV over the surface by moving one or more of the landing gears relative to the surface.

The detection includes identifying a list of possible symbols that may be transmitted by each input signal. A cost value for each possible symbol is determined based on a cost function. The cost function is implemented without requiring a multiplier. The possible symbol with a lowest cost value is identified as the transmitted symbol.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of semiconductor switches, and relates more particularly to a GaN-based bidirectional switch device. The present invention provides a gate-controlled tunneling bidirectional switch device without Ohmic-contact, which avoids a series of negative effects (such as current collapse, incompatibility with traditional CMOS process) caused by the high temperature ohm annealing process. Each insulated gate structure near schottky-contact controls the band structure of the schottky-contact to change the working state of the device, realizing the bidirectional switch's ability of bidirectional conducting and blocking. Due to the only presence of schottky in this invention, no heavy elements such as gold is needed, and this device is compatible with traditional CMOS technology.
