Abstract: A vison-based self-checkout terminal is provided. Purchased items are placed on a base and multiple cameras take multiple images of each item placed on the base. A location for each item placed on the base is determined along with a depth and the dimensions of each item at its given location on the base. Each item's images are then cropped, and item recognition is performed for each item on that item's cropped images with that item's corresponding depth and dimension attributes. An item identifier for each item is obtained along with a corresponding price and a transaction associated with items are completed.

Abstract: A display panel and a display device are provided. The display panel includes a main display region, a first bendable region, a second bendable region, and a first hollow region. The first bendable region and the main display region are connected to each other and arranged along a first direction. The first bendable region is capable of being bent away from a light-exiting surface of the display panel through a first bending axis. The second bendable region and the main display region are connected to each other and arranged along a second direction. The second direction intersects the first direction. The second bendable region is capable of being bent away from the light-exiting surface of the display panel through a second bending axis. An intersection point of extension lines of the first bending axis and the second bending axis is located in the first hollow region.

Abstract: A method and user device for determining a unified Parkinson's disease rating scale (UPDRS) value associated with a user of the user device include obtaining video data associated with a movement of a body part of the user. The UPDRS value is determined using a model and the video data associated with the movement of the body part of the user. The UPDRS value is provided to permit an evaluation of the user based on the UPDRS value.

Abstract: An intraoral three-dimensional scanning system with a monocular camera includes the monocular camera. A first mirror and a second mirror perpendicular to each other are provided between the monocular camera and an object to be measured. A bisector of an angle formed by the first mirror and the second mirror is perpendicular to a lens of the monocular camera, and reflecting surfaces of the first mirror and the second mirror face the lens. Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for determining quantization parameter predictors from a plurality of neighboring quantization parameters. An apparatus includes an encoder for encoding image data for at least a portion of a picture using a quantization parameter predictor for a current quantization parameter to be applied to the image data. The quantization parameter predictor is determined using multiple quantization parameters from previously coded neighboring portions. A difference between the current quantization parameter and the quantization parameter predictor is encoded for signaling to a corresponding decoder.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a credible fruit traceability method and device based on fruit texture atlas and blockchain. According to the present invention, images of fruit pedicel part and fruit navel part of a single fruit are obtained, and the images are grayed and normalized to be converted into rectangular images; features are extracted from the rectangular images, respectively, and are encoded to obtain a fruit pedicle feature code table and a fruit navel feature code table; the two feature code tables are subjected to a merging operation to obtain a combined bidirectional feature code table, thus forming a unique fruit texture atlas. By processing the fruit texture atlas, the fruit texture atlas information and related information are stored on the blockchain.
