A method may comprise receiving a request for a first logical data address (LDA), and calculating a first translation data unit (TDU) index for a first TDU. The method may further comprise searching a cache of lookup directory entries of recently accessed TDUs using the first TDU index, determining that there is a cache miss, generating and storing an outstanding request for the lookup directory entry for the first TDU in a miss buffer, retrieving the lookup directory entry for the first TDU from an in-memory lookup directory, determining that the lookup directory entry for the first TDU is not valid, reserve a TDU space for the first TDU in a memory and generating a load request for the first TDU.

Some UEs may be incapable of transmitting uplink signals over all component carriers in their assigned set of aggregated component carriers. In such scenarios, a UE may need to perform SRS switching in order to transmit SRS symbols over all of the component carriers. Embodiments of this disclosure provide various techniques for facilitating SRS switching. For example, a radio resource control (RRC) message may be used to signal a periodic SRS configuration parameter. As another example, a downlink control indication (DCI) message may be used to signal an aperiodic SRS configuration parameter. Many other examples are also provided.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a thermal insulation composition and a preparation method and application. The thermal insulation composition is composed of aerogel material and organic resin; the composite mass ratio of the aerogel material to the organic resin is 5 wt %:95 wt % to 50 wt %:50 wt %; the porosity of the aerogel material is greater than 95%, the pore diameter of the aerogel material is less than or equal to 100 nm, the particle size of each particle of aerogel material is 5 nm to 20 nm, and the organic resin is filled in the pores of the aerogel material. The thermal insulation module component prepared from the thermal insulation composition has mechanical strength and thermal conductivity at room temperature, and if the battery goes into thermal runaway, the material becomes a heat-insulating material, blocking the heat transfer between battery cells, greatly improving the safety performance of the battery.

    Abstract: A fiber-optic sensor matt detects movements of a person on the matt that cause microbending of a fiber-optic cable that is arranged into a symmetric pair of radial ring groups within the matt. There are no cross-over points or overlapping of the fiber-optic cable within the symmetric pair of radial ring groups that could cause fiber wear and noisy readings. Microbending of the fiber-optic cable pressed into a mesh modulates the light intensity received, which is analyzed to extract both respiration and heart BallistoCardioGram (BCG) waveforms by convolution with Daubechies dB5 wavelet and scaling functions. The reconstructed level-4 detail waveform is output as the extracted BCG, while the reconstructed level-6 approximation waveform is output as the extracted respiration waveform. Respiration and heart rates and variations can be generated from the extracted waveforms. An integrated Fast Wavelet Transform (FWT) using dB5 wavelet thus generates both respiration rate and heart rate.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to multilayer composite materials with anisotropic thermal conductivity for high safety pack design. According to the present invention, the multilayer composite material has a sandwich structure, and comprises: an inner layer consisting of an aerogel material which has ultra-low thermal conductivity; and two thermal conduction layers which contain graphene based nano carbon and possess high thermal conductivity, wherein the inner layer is sandwiched by the two thermal conduction layers. When used as a spacer between two neighbor cell, the multi-layer composite material can help to achieve uniform thermal distribution, stop the thermal propagation and act as a spacer to accommodate the volumetric change during charge and discharge.
