    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of random access occasions for connected mode operation. The random access occasions may span subband full-duplex (SBFD) symbols (including uplink subbands and downlink or flexible subbands) and uplink symbols. In some cases, the random access occasions may include a first subset of random access occasions for the SBFD symbols and a second subset of random access occasions for the uplink symbols, the second subset also for initial access operation. The UE may transmit a random access message via the random access occasions based on being in a connected operating mode. If a downlink message is also scheduled via the random access occasions, the UE may use a prioritization rule to determine whether to use the set of random access occasions for downlink message reception or random access message transmission.

The first UE may adjust a reception timing of the first UE for the CLI measurements. The first UE may adjust the reception timing during a time interval that occurs after the control message is received and in accordance with a rule to align the reception timing of the first UE with a transmission timing of a second UE. The transmission timing of the second UE may be associated with transmission of the CLI reference signals from the second UE. Here, the streaming speech recognition model is trained using self-alignment to reduce prediction delay by encouraging an alignment path that is one frame left from a reference forced-alignment frame.
