    Abstract: A center foam strip has a series of transverse fold lines separating the strip into panels which fold onto each other in an accordion pattern for storage. A soft fabric waterproof cover material is attached to the center foam strip to hang down the sides of the vehicle to be closed in the vehicle doors shading the side windows. The cover material and center foam strip are sewn together to conform to the shape of the top of a particular vehicle with the foam strip covering the roof, windshield, and rear window. The center foam strip and surrounding soft fabric are held in place by the trunk lid, doors, and windshield wipers.

    Abstract: Double transformer balun for maximum PA (Power Amplifier) power. A novel approach is presented herein by which conversion from a differential signal to single-ended signal may be achieved using a double transformer balun design. The secondary coils of the double transformer balun also operate as a choke for the PA supply voltage. The secondary coils can operate as an RF (Radio Frequency) trap or choke to keep any AC (Alternating Current) signal components and to pass any DC (Direct Current) components. By using a double transformer balun design, relatively thinner tracks may be employed thereby ensuring a high degree of electromagnetic coupling efficiency and high performance. Also, these relatively thinner tracks consume a relatively small amount of space on the die. The double transformer balun design also includes a matching Z (impedance) block that is operable to math the Z of an antenna or line that the PA is driving.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a grouted tubular energy-dissipation unit comprising an inner tube and an outer tube. The inner tube is coaxially inserted into the outer tube defining a gap within a lapping portion of the tubes for receiving expansive cement grout. After solidified, the expansive cement grout forms an expansive ring. A prestress produced by the expansive cement grout increases the friction between the expansive ring and the tubes. In service, the present invention can transfer the axial force via the friction between the tubes and the expansive cement grout. In case of earthquake, the sliding friction between the tubes and the expansive cement grout can absorb energy. The present invention does not require high precise in manufacturing and constructing, saves steel and has low cost. It is only need to replace the grouted tubular energy-dissipation unit when the present invention is damaged in earthquake, which is very convenient.

The LDO provides a constant voltage output to a crystal oscillator. A clock signal is generated using the crystal oscillator. The low-power output clock signal or the low-noise output clock signal is selected using a mux.

    Abstract: Techniques for scanning an object that does not fit upon a scan surface of a scanner and requires a non-linear scanning path are described. In one embodiment, a pair of optical navigation sensors and an image sensor (e.g., CIS) are used to determine coordinates and an angle of a scanning object. By acquiring the coordinates of optical navigation sensors with respect to the image sensor after each relative movement between the image sensor and the scanning object, coordinates of pixel points on the image sensor can be readily determined as long as there is a predefined geometry between the optical navigation sensors and the image sensor.
