Abstract: A touchscreen for an electronic device includes a first substrate, a second substrate opposite to the first substrate, and photosensors disposed on the first substrate. The second substrate includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. When a first light at a first wavelength enters the second substrate via the second surface, the second substrate emits the first light at the first wavelength from the first surface. The second substrate further totally reflects the first light at a second wavelength. The plurality of photosensors detect the first light at the first wavelength penetrating through the second substrate, and output corresponding detecting signals.

Abstract: An electronic device capable of displaying correct characters in place of garbled characters includes a storage unit, a control unit, and a display unit. The storage unit stores a number of garbled characters and identifiable characters associated with the garbled characters, and the identifiable characters are translated from original characters corresponding to the garbled characters. The control unit obtains any garbled character displayed on the display unit, determines whether the obtained garbled character matches a garbled character stored in the storage unit, if so, then the control unit controls the display unit to display an identifiable character in place of the garbled character.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a music play module that plays music and a voice recorder that records ambient voice around the electronic device. The electronic device further includes a music control module that identifies voice characteristics of the ambient voice, and controls the music play module to pause the playing of the music when the voice characteristics of the ambient voice match pre-configured voice reference information.

The second processor determines that the electronic device has entered the hardware initialization process and displays the preset information. The second processor stops displaying the preset information on the display unit when the hardware initialization process is determined to be finished. A booting method for starting an electronic device is also provided.

Abstract: The disclosure provides an electronic device and a detecting position method adapted for the electronic device. The device stores an infrared sensing mode and a capture mode. The method includes steps of: entering the infrared sensing mode in response to an input signal and capturing infrared signals from an external environment, amplifying the infrared signals and converting the infrared signals into digital signals, evaluating whether part of the infrared signals falls into a predetermined waveband, if yes, focusing on an infrared thermal source whose infrared signals fall into the predetermined waveband, switching from the infrared sensing mode to the capture mode, taking a photo of the infrared thermal source, and processing the photo to identify a position of the infrared thermal source in the photo and displaying the position of the infrared thermal source in the photo.

Abstract: A method for configuring an absolute grant mapping relationship table for a drift radio network controller, comprises: a serving radio network controller informing the drift radio network controller of the absolute grant mapping relationship table used by an enhanced-dedicated channel absolute grant channel (E-AGCH) by signaling; and the drift radio network controller returning a response message to the serving radio network controller after storing the information configured. The present invention guarantees that absolute grant values corresponding to the Node B and the user equipment are obtained from the same absolute grant mapping relationship table, i.e. from the same table of relationships between absolute grant values and indexes, and the allocation and use of the power resource by them are consistent, so that efficient use of resources and security of the system are guaranteed.

Abstract: A computerized method adjusts two presented audio signals using an audio player. A first audio signal is received and played through an audio playing unit. When a second audio signal that is inserted to be played is received in time during the playing of the first audio signal, a peak amplitude X of a volume of the first audio signal and a peak amplitude Y of a volume of the second audio signal are extracted. Each of the peak amplitude X and the peak amplitude Y are compared with a predetermined threshold value A. The first audio signal and/or the second audio signal are adjusted according to the comparison, and the first audio signal and/or the second audio signal is outputted to the audio playing unit and played through the audio playing unit according to the adjustment for the first audio signal and/or the second audio signal.

Abstract: An exemplary password recovery method is applied on a server. The server is connected to one user terminal. The server stores email addresses and email boxes associated with the corresponding email address. Each email box includes emails sent to each corresponding email address. Each email may be a registration email that includes a website and a username. The method receives a password recovery request for a submitted email address of a user, and determines whether there is a registration email in the email box. If yes, the method obtains the website and the username. The method then controls the user terminal to display the prompt information corresponding to the obtained website. Further, the method receives the input username, and determines whether the input username matches the obtained username. If yes, the method generates a new email password, and controls the user terminal to display the new email password.

Abstract: The present invention provides a fingerprint recognition apparatus and a fingerprint recognition method adapted for the apparatus. The method includes steps of: performing an image processing function for fingerprints of a user and generating an image formed by a number of ridges; scanning the image according to a scanning frequency and selecting a number of scanning lines; acquiring a cross point formed between each ridge of fingerprint and each scanning line; acquiring a tangent line; generating a graph between each cross point and each corresponding slope value; determining whether the graph is similar to one of the stored at least one graph to obtain a determination result; and outputting a recognition result of the fingerprints of the user associated with the determination result.
