Abstract: A random access method includes working, by a user equipment (UE), on a first bandwidth part (BWP), where the first BWP is a currently active BWP, when the UE needs to perform a random access procedure, the UE performs the random access procedure on an initial BWP or on the first BWP, and when the UE receives BWP switching indication information from a network device instructing the UE to use a second BWP when performing the random access procedure on the first BWP, continuing, by the UE, to perform the random access procedure on the first BWP, or stopping, by the UE, performing the random access procedure on the first BWP, and performing the random access procedure on the second BWP.

Abstract: Described herein are methods, techniques and systems for a user to conduct authentication via inertial measurement unit data collected by the user's smartphone and video data collected by a drone recording the user operations for mutual authentication, as well as to prevent attacks of the authentication data, wherein correlation can be easily extended to using other information, such as noises, illuminance, GPS, and how the phone flashlight flashes.

Abstract: Secure pairing is key to trustworthy deployment and application of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. However, IoT devices lack conventional user interfaces, such as keyboards and displays, which make many traditional pairing approaches inapplicable. Proximity-based pairing approaches are very usable, but can be exploited by co-located malicious devices. Approaches based on a user's physical operations on IoT devices are more secure, but typically require inertial sensors, while many devices do not satisfy this requirement. A secure and usable pairing approach that can be applied to heterogeneous IoT devices still does not exist. We develop a technique, Universal Operation Sensing, which allows an IoT device to sense the user's physical operations on it without requiring inertial sensors. With this technique, a user holding a smartphone or wearing a wristband can finish pairing in seconds through some very simple operations, e.g., pressing a button or twisting a knob.

The slope detection circuit generates a slope representation signal representing a falling slope of the detection signal. The turn-on detection circuit generates a comparison result signal by comparing the slope representation signal and the threshold signal for controlling the switch state of the synchronous rectification transistor.

In one embodiment, the composition ay have an amount of oxygen present in a concentration of less than about 3×1018 per cubic centimeter, and may be free of two-dimensional planar boundary defects in a determined volume of the first crystalline composition.
