Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and system for upgrading a service instance of a VNF or PNF executing in ONAP. The method comprises when onboarding an updated VNF or PNF package, creating a new network resource associated with the VNF or PNF package. Adding an upgrade path artifact to the new network resource including information about which existing network resources can be upgraded to the new network resource. Updating a service template associated with the VNF or PNF package by replacing an existing network resource with the new network resource and by generating an upgrade artifact including an upgrade option which indicates from which version a service template can be upgraded. Upgrading a corresponding VNF or PNF service instance by executing an upgrade workflow using the upgrade artifact of the upgraded service template associated with the VNF or PNF service instance.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method, system and non-transitory computer readable media for onboarding a network function package in Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP). The method comprises reading a PNF or VNF package; parsing the PNF or VNF package; extracting additional artifacts marked with a corresponding specific artifact label from the PNF or VNF package; transforming the content of the additional artifacts into a network function descriptor using a service design and creation (SDC) which is able to treat the additional artifacts; and instantiating, using a service orchestrator, a network function based on the network function descriptor.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for contact-free heart rate monitoring and/or measurement are provided. One method may include receiving video(s) that include visual frame(s) of individual s) performing exercises, detecting some exposed skin from the video(s), and performing motion compensation to generate color signals for the exposed skin to precisely align frames of the exposed skin. The method may also include generating the color signals by estimating a skin color for each frame by taking a spatial average over pixels of a cheek of the face(s) for R, G, and B channels, respectively, applying an operation to remove remaining motion traces from the frames such that the heart rate traces dominate, and extracting and/or outputting the heart rate of the individuals using a frequency estimator of the skin color signals.
