Abstract: The present disclosure provides method and apparatus for providing video recommendation. At least one reference factor for the video recommendation may be determined, wherein the at least one reference factor indicates preferred importance of visual information and/or audio information in at least one video to be recommended. A ranking score of each candidate video in a candidate video set may be determined based at least on the at least one reference factor. At least one recommended video may be selected from the candidate video set based at least on ranking scores of candidate videos in the candidate video set. The at least one recommended video may be provided to a user through a terminal device.
