The method includes: displaying an adsorbable area on a graphical user interface in response to a touch operation acting on a first short-range interaction skill control, wherein the graphical user interface is provided by a terminal device and comprises a virtual scene and at least one short-range interaction skill control; locking a target virtual object in the virtual scene according to an orientation of a crosshair in the adsorbable area; adsorbing the target virtual object in response to a release operation acting on the first short-range interaction skill control; and performing collision detection for the target virtual object, and initiating interaction with the target virtual object according to a result of the detection.

Abstract: A character jump control method and apparatus in a game, a terminal device and a storage medium are disclosed. The character jump control method in a game includes: displaying a jump control in the graphical user interface; and controlling the virtual character to perform a jump operation corresponding to an air jump from a first starting jump height in response to a received trigger operation for the jump control during a free fall of the virtual character in performing a ground jump, where the first starting jump height may be a current height of the virtual character in the game scene when the trigger operation is received, and the ground jump and the air jump are of jump types with different acceleration modes.

Abstract: A social media content communication system includes a display device; a remote controller providing at least one social media communication input element; a remote content server from which content is network accessible; and a set top box coupled to the display device and the remote content server. The set top box is configured for: presenting a graphical user interface (GUI) responsive to remote controller input on the display device; managing content presentation on the display device; presenting a social media sharing interface corresponding to a set of social media services on the display device during content presentation thereon or while such content presentation is paused; receiving by way of the remote controller user input corresponding to a user social media response to content presented on the display device; and automatically communicating by way of the set top box the user's social media response to a user social media account.

Abstract: A system and method for delivering content to a display screen is provided. An interactive user interface is provided for display on the screen, and the user interface includes a selection portion with a plurality of selectable objects, each of which is related to a corresponding screen. Such corresponding screens are displayed when the selectable object is browsed or selected. Instances of browsing and selecting of the selectable objects are tracked and recorded, and the subsequently recorded instances are compiled and an analysis is generated therefrom. Digital advertisements are subsequently introduced into the user interface based on the results of the generated analysis, where the digital advertisements are provided as corresponding screens for the selectable objects.

Abstract: A remote controller for an interactive system for a system delivering content to a display screen is provided. The system includes a set top box coupled between a central content server and a display screen. The remote controller has basic controller functionalities, such as a plurality of keys for controlling various functions to be carried out by the set top box, and an infrared transmitter in the remote controller for carrying out infrared communication. The remote controller includes wireless communications module for establishing a wireless connection between the remote controller and the set top box.
