  • Publication number: 20150325544
Abstract: A method for treating a chip packaging structure includes providing a chip packaging structure having at least a first electrical connect structure and a second electrical connect structure, and an insulation layer exposing portions of the first electrical connect structure and the second electrical connect structure; selecting a plasma gas based on materials of the first electrical connect structure and the second electrical connect structure and a type of process forming the first electrical connect structure and the second electrical connect structure, wherein metal cations are left on the insulation layer; performing a plasma treatment process using the selected plasma gas on the first electrical connect structure, the second electrical connect structure and the insulation layer, causing reaction of the metal cations to substantially convert the metal cations into electrically neutral materials; and removing the reacted metal cations from the insulation layer.

  • Publication number: 20140091034
Abstract: Objects of the invention are to provide a solution in which polymer nanofibers are highly dispersed without undergoing gelation and precipitation, its fabrication process, and a polymer nanofiber membrane filter. Those objects are achievable by use of the nano-particulate fiber solution in which the nanoparticulate fibers 30 are dispersed in the poor solvent 42, wherein the nanoparticulate fibers each comprise an elongated segment in which a plurality of nanoparticles 11 are linked together and elongated, and a branching segment in which the elongated segment is branched off, and the polymer molecules are entangled up and aggregated with the molecule of the poor solvent 42 held between said polymer molecules. The polymer used herein should preferably have any one substituent of a hydroxyl group, an amino group or a fluoro group, as shown in FIG. 1.

  • Publication number: 20120097603
Abstract: The invention provides a process for fabricating a membrane filter that can stand up to filtration of nanometer-scaled fine particles or organic molecules, and a membrane filter having that filtration feature. Membrane filter 20 is disclosed. There is also the process for fabricating membrane filter 20 disclosed that is characterized by comprising the steps of mixing an aqueous solution containing a metal salt and an aqueous solution containing an alkali to prepare nanostrand solution 32 comprising a metal hydroxide, and filtrating nanostrand solution 32 through porous substrate 2 having pores to fabricate nanostrand sheet 3 comprising an accumulation of fibrous nanostrands on porous substrate 2 wherein the first pore formed between the nanostrands and extending through the nanostrand sheet from one surface side to another surface side has a maximum diameter of up to 5 nm.
