Abstract: This application relates to the field of electronic technologies, and discloses a speaker management method and an electronic device, so that overall energy consumption of the electronic device in some scenarios can be effectively optimized, and it can be ensured that total sound intensity of the electronic device meets a requirement. The electronic device includes at least a first speaker and a second speaker. The method includes: determining that the electronic device is in a first use scenario; adjusting an output volume of the first speaker based on a first volume control parameter that is of the first speaker and that corresponds to the first use scenario; and adjusting an output volume of the second speaker based on a second volume control parameter that is of the second speaker and that corresponds to the first use scenario, where the first volume control parameter is different from the second volume control parameter.

Abstract: A power consumption optimization method and an electronic device are provided. The method is applied to an electronic device, where a plurality of applications are installed on the electronic device. The method includes: enabling, by an electronic device, a Do Not Disturb mode in response to a first operation; and when the electronic device is in a screen-off state, performing, by the electronic device, power consumption optimization on a target application in the plurality of applications. The power consumption optimization is used to reduce usage of resources in the electronic device by the target application. The target application includes at least one of the following applications: an application outside an application whitelist of the electronic device, an application that performs a preset operation when the electronic device is in the screen-off state, or an application selected by a user in the plurality of applications.
