  • Patent number: 11326318
Abstract: Provided is a lateral water intake structure for preventing silting of bed load and floating debris, which is provided at a river bank. The lateral water intake structure includes: a diversion canal, a guiding wall structure, a shaft-shaped water intaking space, and a trash rack. The lateral water intake structure functions to prevent the floating debris from gathering at the surface of the trash rack and reduce a risk that the trash rack is damaged by water pressure and hitting of the floating debris. Meanwhile, by using a water flow in the watercourse to continuously wash the floating debris near the trash rack, maintenance costs of removing the floating debris at the trash rack manually or mechanically can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 11045788
Abstract: The present invention discloses a near-infrared regenerative intelligent fiber-based adsorptive material and a preparation method and use thereof. The material is obtained by chemically grafting a stepwise dual-temperature stimuli-responsive polyethyleneimine onto a carboxylated cellulose nanofiber matrix to prepare a stepwise dual-temperature stimuli-responsive intelligent nanofiber, and combining the stepwise dual-temperature stimuli-responsive intelligent nanofiber with a photosensitizer having near-infrared stimuli-response to prepare a stepwise dual-temperature/near-infrared stimuli-responsive intelligent nanofiber, and then by using a crosslinking agent to directly crosslink and combine the stepwise dual-temperature/near-infrared stimuli-responsive intelligent nanofiber with a hyperbranched polyamine in one step. The material has a stepwise dual-temperature/near-infrared stimuli-response, high density of amino group (greater than 14 mmol/g), and nano cavities.

  • Patent number: 10253600
Abstract: In some embodiments, systems, methods, and articles may operate to compute, in parallel, to determine values of unknowns in network equations associated with a network of sub-surface wells and at least one surface facility, for intra-well subdivisions of the network, and then for inter-well subdivisions of the network, wherein the computing is based on default values of the unknowns, or prior determined values of the unknowns. Additional activities may include constructing a distributed Jacobian matrix having portions comprising coefficients of the unknowns distributed among a number of processors, wherein each of the portions is distributed to a particular one of the processors previously assigned to corresponding ones of the subdivisions. The Jacobian matrix may be factored to provide factors and eliminate some of the unknowns. Back-solving is used to determine remaining unsolved ones of the unknowns, using the factors. Additional apparatus, systems, and methods are described.
