    Abstract: A breeding method for rapidly stabilizing cotton distant hybridization progeny is disclosed. It belongs to the technical field of plant breeding. The disclosure is based on VSG (G. barbadense semi-compatible material) as female parent, general G. hirsutum materials as male parent of the cross to get F1 generation of G. barbadense-G. hirsutum hybrid materials, and treats the F1 generation of young bolls with 0.03-0.05% of colchicine aqueous solution to induce F2 generation to separate the stable intermediate materials or new varieties with excellent genes of both G. barbadense and G. hirsutum, so as to produce new cotton germplasm resources. The main innovation of the present disclosure lies in that it changes the previous treatment position and method of colchicine on cotton plant, and the disclosure is not limited by haploid and directly treats the cotton bolls on F1 cotton plants.

The set gypsum core makes up a substantial thickness (e.g., at least about 90%, at least about 92%, at least about 95%, or at least about 97%) of the total thickness of all the gypsum layers. A first skim coat layer is included on one side of the core, facing a first (face) cover sheet. A second skim coat layer is included on the other side of the core, facing a second (back) cover sheet. At least the second skim layer is formed from a slurry that contains starch.     Abstract: This invention relates to a multi-element membrane separator and separation method based on spiral-wound membrane elements. It includes a membrane housing, spiral-wound membrane elements, and baffles on both sides of the membrane housing, designed to secure the spiral-wound membrane elements. The permeate tubes of the spiral-wound membrane elements are connected to the openings in the perforated plates. Sealing rings are respectively provided at the connections of the permeate tubes and the perforated plate openings. This multi-element membrane separator enables a more compact arrangement of membrane elements, reducing the footprint of the membrane separation device. It also reduces the use of materials such as membrane housing, pipelines, and connecting fittings, thereby lowering equipment costs and the difficulty of membrane device assembly.

The EHT STA may encode a EHT TB PPDU in response to the trigger frame. The EHT TB PPDU may be encoded to include an EHT preamble followed by a data field. The EHT preamble may be encoded to indicate channel availability. The EHT STA may generate signalling to cause the EHT STA to transmit the encoded EHT TB PPDU only on the assigned channels that have been determined to be available.

    Abstract: A station (STA) configured for operation in a WLAN may perform bit scrambling on input bits to generate scrambled input bits and may perform probabilistic constellation shaping using a shaping encoder on the scrambled input bits. The shaping encoder may encode a segment of the scrambled input bits for a modulation order and generate a shaped bit stream. In these embodiments, the STA may generate a QAM symbol stream with a QAM modulator. The QAM symbol stream may be generated at least from the shaped bit stream and from parity bits using the modulation order. The STA may generate the parity bits from the shaped bit streams with a forward-error correction (FEC) encoder and may transmit the QAM symbol stream within a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU). To address a potential byte boundary shift caused a decoding error at a receiving station, the STA may modify performance of the bit scrambling when probabilistic constellation shaping is performed.

The EHT STA may determine a spectral mask to apply to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission of the EHT PPDU. When preamble puncturing is performed, the EHT STA may apply an overall spectral mask to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission. The overall spectral mask may be based on an interim spectral mask and a preamble-puncture spectral mask. The subchannels may be in a 6 GHz band and the EHT STA may determine if preamble puncturing is to be performed for one or more of the subchannels based on a presence of incumbents in the one or more of the subchannels, although the scope of the embodiments is not limited in this respect.
