    Abstract: The invention is directed towards methods, compositions, and apparatus for increasing the strength of paper made out of a furnish having a large proportion of OCC. The method involves the following steps: 1) Providing a paper furnish having a large amount of OCC in it, 2) adding strength promoter to the furnish prior to adding a strength agent to the furnish, 3) adding a strength agent to the furnish, and 4) making a paper product from the furnish. This method allows cheap OCC material to be used in a papermaking process without the quality problems that the anionic trash in OCC typically causes. Thus paper products having low costs and high quality can be produced.

The multi-voltage driving circuit averages the voltage of the master capacitor and the voltages of the slave capacitors by turning on or turning off a first master switch, a second master switch, and a plurality of slave switch sets continuously, thereby the voltages of the master capacitor and the slave capacitors become equal gradually and the multi-voltage driving circuit generates a plurality of divided voltages. Because the master capacitor and slave capacitors have no power consumption and the first master switch, the second master switch, and the slave switch sets have less power consumption, the multi-voltage driving circuit may be adapted for low-power operation and generate accurate divided voltages.

The short circuit protection circuit is configured to generate a short circuit protecting signal according to a control signal and a short circuit status of the semiconductor switch. The signal processing module is configured to generate the control signal and the driving signal according to a modulating signal, and to turn off the semiconductor switch according to the short circuit protecting signal. A delay duration is present between the modulating signal and the control signal, and the semiconductor switch is turned on during the delay duration.

The feedback detecting module detects a load voltage of a load device, and converts the load voltage into a feedback voltage. The load driving module has a plurality of driving units and at least one switch. The driving units drive the load device according to the load driving signal, and at least one driving unit receives the load driving signal through the switch. The control module turns on the switch when the frequency of the load driving signal is less than a frequency threshold. Accordingly, the load-adaptive power generator of the present invention can save energy.

    Abstract: An apparatus for reducing laser speckle cooperates with a laser light source and comprises a light guide tube and a vibration element coupled on the light guide tube. The light guide tube includes an input member corresponding to the laser light source, an output member far away from the laser light source, and a chamber allowing a laser beam which is emitted by the laser light source to perform total reflection inside. The vibration element is arranged at a region between the input member and the output member to drive the light guide tube to vibrate reciprocally along a direction not parallel to the axis of the light guide tube. The vibration element controls the light guide tube to perform swift, reciprocal and high-frequency vibration to destroy coherence of the laser beam. Thus the laser beam can be output uniformly to avoid laser speckles caused by light interference.
