  • Patent number: 12349047
Abstract: An access point is described. During operation, the access point may provide, addressed to a computer, a location request. In response, the access point may receive, associated with the computer, a location response that includes location information specifying an address of a controller of the access point, where the computer may be located in a same subnet in the network as the access point and/or the controller may be located in a different subnet in a network than the access point. For example, the computer may be a lightweight access point protocol (LWAPP) proxy for at least some management functions of the controller. Then, the access point may provide, addressed to the controller, a configuration request. Next, the access point may receive, associated with the controller, a configuration response that includes second information specifying a configuration of the access point.

  • Patent number: 11993795
Abstract: The disclosure discloses an alginate lyase and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of biology. The alginate lyase provided by the disclosure has high degradation activity, and the enzyme activity reaches 65 U/mg; the alginate lyase is stable in nature, and the enzyme activity remains 98% or higher of the initial enzyme activity after storage at 4° C. for 18 months; and the alginate lyase has high product specificity. The disclosure uses E. coli as a host to express the alginate lyase derived from V. natriegens, the obtained recombinant E. coli can produce the alginate lyase secreted extracellularly in a conventional LB medium without adding an induction substrate sodium alginate, so the downstream processing technology of protein is simplified, and the disclosure has great industrial application potential.

  • Patent number: 10917094
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing stripe-based self-gating and change detect signal propagation for retiming pipelines are disclosed. A circuit includes one or more stripes, with each stripe including a plurality of stages of registers, with each stage only receiving input signals from the preceding stage. For a given stripe, the first stage of registers are self-gated to reduce power consumption by only clocking a group of registers when any of their input signals change. The self-gating signals of the first stage of registers are combined together to create a change detect signal which is passed through a register and provided to a second stage of registers as a clock-enable signal. Accordingly, the second stage registers are only clocked when the change detect signal indicates a change will be forwarded from the first stage. This reduces power consumption for the second stage without causing the area increase associated with self-gating circuitry.

  • Patent number: 8902312
Abstract: A total-sky lightning event observation system and method may include a photographing device, a housing, a temperature control device, a light shielding device, a control module, a power supply module, a corona current sensor, a data acquisition device, a GPS antenna, a GPS timing module and a processing unit. The photographing device can capture total-sky digital images and transmit the images directly to the processing unit. The processing unit consecutively acquire corona current via the data acquisition device and judges whether there exists thunderstorm activity within the observed range; if there exists thunderstorm activity, the light shielding device is opened so as to enter a lightning observation mode, and the light shielding device is closed after the observation is finished so as to protect the photographing device in non-thunderstorm weather.
