    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for recovering an iron and aluminum from a red mud, which includes the following steps: providing a red mud, a mass percentage of an alumogoethite is not less than 20% and a mass percentage of Fe2O3 is not less than 40% in the red mud; mixing the red mud with a circulating mother liquor and an additive and performing a wet treatment above 260° C. to obtain an ore pulp; performing a liquid-solid separation on the ore pulp after the ore pulp is flash evaporated, to obtain a separated iron material and a separated liquid; performing a seed precipitation on the separated liquid after the separated liquid is refined, or performing a seed precipitation on the separated liquid after the separated liquid is combined with an existing refined liquid; and, preforming an iron separation on the separated iron material after washed to obtain an iron concentrate. The additive includes an alkaline earth metal compound.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product for adapting scripts from a source platform to be utilized in a target platform when porting. Traces of system calls from the commands in the source and target platforms are analyzed to identify building blocks. A tree structure for each command of the source and target platforms is constructed with one or more building blocks from the identified building blocks. Commands of the target platform with a functionality within a threshold degree of similarity to the commands of the source platform are identified by analyzing the building blocks of the commands' tree structures. Alternative commands for the commands of the source platform, such as those commands that are not supported by the target platform, may be generated using such identified commands. The script from the source platform may then be adapted to be utilized in the target platform using such alternative commands.

The III-V stack layer includes: a first III-V layer disposed on the sapphire substrate; a low temperature (LT) III-V buffer layer disposed on the first III-V layer; multiple second III-V layers disposed and stacked on the LT III-V buffer layer; a third III-V layer disposed on the second III-V layers; a III-V quantum well layer disposed on the third III-V layers; and a fourth III-V layer disposed on the III-V quantum well layer. The second III-V layers are respectively annealed. A growth temperature of the LT III-V layer and a growth temperature of the III-V quantum well layer are lower than a growth temperature of each of the first, second, third and fourth III-V layers.

    Abstract: The invention provides an amino-substituted chromenoquinoline-based fluorescent marker, and preparation and use thereof. The amino group of an aromatic amine compound is subjected to a one-step cyclization reaction with two o-chloroformylcumarins, to obtain a series of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound. Such compounds have excellent fluorescence emission performance, and also have good photostability in various organic solvents. The problem of photostability of cyanine dyes is effectively solved, and these dyes are useful in marking various organelles at cellular level. The introduction of the nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring improves the biocompatibility of the compound, thus laying a good foundation for use in organisms. Further, the raw materials used in such reactions are cheap and readily available, the steps of synthesizing the marker are simple and easy to operate, and the production cost is effectively reduced while not lowering the performance of the marker.

    Abstract: Embodiments relate to dynamic horizontal autoscaling for a multi-tenant service. According to an aspect, a computer-implemented method includes configuring a network computing element to route a plurality of requests from two or more clients to a service in a containerized-networked system. A horizontal service-level autoscaler monitors one or more aspects of the requests to the service from the two or more clients. A new pod including a set of running containers with shared resources in the containerized-networked system is created based at least in part on the horizontal service-level autoscaler determining that at least one of the one or more aspects of the requests exceeds a threshold. A new service mapping is created to accept subsequent requests from one of the two or more clients that triggered creation of the new pod.
