    Abstract: An LED module includes a flexible printed circuit board including two bonding pads, an LED unit and a glue layer including two first glue portions and two second glue portions. The LED unit includes an insulating casing having a bottom surface that has a periphery region, an LED chip, and two conducting elements. Each of the conducting elements has a main portion disposed adjacent to the periphery region and spaced apart from a periphery of the bottom surface. Each of the first glue portions electrically interconnects a respective one of the bonding pads and the main portion of a respective one of the connecting elements. The second glue portions are disposed on the peripheral region to interconnect the LED unit and the flexible printed circuit board.

    Abstract: A flip chip semiconductor device has a substrate with a plurality of active devices formed thereon. A passive device is formed on the substrate by depositing a first conductive layer over the substrate, depositing an insulating layer over the first conductive layer, and depositing a second conductive layer over the insulating layer. The passive device is a metal-insulator-metal capacitor. The deposition of the insulating layer and first and second conductive layers is performed without photolithography. An under bump metallization (UBM) layer is formed on the substrate in electrical contact with the plurality of active devices. A solder bump is formed over the UBM layer. The passive device can also be a resistor by depositing a resistive layer over the first conductive layer and depositing a third conductive layer over the resistive layer. The passive device electrically contacts the solder bump.

A passivation layer is formed over the substrate and first and second contact pads. A protective layer is formed over the passivation layer. The protective layer is removed over the first contact pad, but not from the second contact pad. A conductive layer is formed over the first contact pad. The conductive layer is coiled on the surface of the substrate to produce inductive properties. The formation of the conductive layer involves use of a wet etchant. The second contact pad is protected from the wet etchant by the protective layer. The protective layer is removed from the second contact pad after forming the conductive layer over the first contact pad. An external connection is formed on the second contact pad.

The apparatus further includes a patch library creator for creating a patch library from a reconstructed version of the picture. The patch library includes a plurality of high resolution replacement patches for replacing the one or more pruned blocks during a recovery of the pruned version of the picture. The apparatus additionally includes a search and replacement device for performing a searching process using the metadata to find a corresponding patch for a respective one of the one or more pruned blocks from among the plurality of non-overlapping blocks and replace the respective one of the one or more pruned blocks with the corresponding patch.

Since the polarizer is additionally provided with the second bonding layer based on the existing polarizer, the double surfaces of the polarizer can be simply and conveniently adhered to the display substrate and the first film layer respectively, thereby greatly simplifying the adhesion process of the polarizer in a double-face adhesion process.

A frame gradient is a distortion rate divided by a network performance rate change caused by the frame and its related frames, and a distortion rate is based on a sum of each individual frame distortion rate when the frame and its related frames are replaced by some other frames derived from remaining frames based on a replacement method.
