  • Patent number: 12340286
Abstract: A model management system adaptively refines a training dataset for more effective visual inspection. The system trains a machine learning model using the initial training dataset and sends the trained model to a client for deployment. The deployment process generates outputs that are sent back to the system. The system determines that performance of predictions for noisy data points are inadequate and determines a cause of failure based on a mapping of the noisy data point to a distribution generated for the training dataset across multiple dimensions. The system determines a cause of failure based on an attribute of the noisy datapoint that deviates from the distribution of the training dataset and performs refinement towards the training dataset based on the identified cause of failure. The system retrains the machine learning model with the refined training dataset and sends the retrained machine learning model back to the client for re-deployment.

  • Publication number: 20250171858
Abstract: Techniques are provided for enriching samples for clinically-relevant cell-free (cfDNA), e.g., for downstream analysis. For example, cell-free DNA molecules having NCG end motifs can be selected, as such a subset has an increased proportion of the clinically-relevant cfDNA. Such NCG cfDNA molecules can be further selected based on size and/or location at tissue-specific hypomethylated sites for further enrichment. As another example, cell-free DNA molecules having CGN end motifs can be selected, as such a subset can have an increased proportion of the clinically-relevant cfDNA when located at tissue-specific hypermethylated sites. Such CGN cfDNA molecules can be further selected based on size.

  • Patent number: 12258634
Abstract: Fragmentation of cell-free DNA molecules is measured and used for various purposes, including determining methylation, e.g., at a particular site of a DNA molecule, at a particular genomic site in a reference genome for a biological sample (e.g., plasma, serum, urine, saliva) of cell-free DNA of a subject, or for a particular region in the reference genome for the biological sample (also just referred to as a sample). Various types of fragmentation measurements can be used, e.g., end motifs and cleavage profiles. Another purpose is determining a fractional concentration of DNA of a particular tissue type (e.g., clinically-relevant DNA). Another purpose is determining a pathology of a subject using a biological sample including cell-free DNA. The cell-free DNA can be of the subject or of a pathogen (e.g., a virus) in the subject's sample. Sites/regions that are hypermethylated, hypomethylated, 5hmC-enriched, and 5hmC-depleted for a particular tissue type can be used.

  • Patent number: 12220685
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of solid-phase extraction, and particularly to a solid-phase extraction material, and a preparation method and use thereof. The preparation method includes prepolymerizing the monomers N-vinylpyrrolidone and divinylbenzene in the presence of a chain transfer agent, adding prepolymer dropwise to an emulsion of monodispersed seed microspheres, swelling, and reacting to prepare white spheres; and functionalizing the white spheres, to obtain the solid-phase extraction material. The solid-phase extraction material prepared by the reaction has good spherical morphology, large specific surface area, and high ion exchange capacity. The prepared solid-phase extraction material functions in the separation and enrichment of PPCPs by means of a variety of forces with a high extraction rate. The extraction rate is basically maintained between 85% and 105%, and acidic, alkaline, neutral and amphoteric substances is capable of being selectively separated.

  • Patent number: 12207384
Abstract: Disclosed is a top surface wave antenna of a spherical Tokamak, comprising a feedback waveguide, a brim, sub-waveguides, and a metal base. The lower end of the feed waveguide is connected to one end of the metal base, and one side of the feed waveguide is connected to the brim. The brim is towards a length direction of the metal base. A plurality of sub-waveguides are arranged on the metal base at equal intervals, the tops of the sub-waveguides are not higher than the height of the metal base, and the sub-waveguides are arranged in a rising line trend. The feed waveguide serves as a microwave input port. The top surface wave antenna of the spherical Tokamak is mainly used in a high-power Tokamak system and acts on the low-hybrid wave current driving together with an external antenna so as to obtain a better effect.

  • Publication number: 20240408566
Abstract: Porous structures are made from compositions that include hollow glass bodies and an inorganic powder. The inorganic powder may act as a rigid frame member, a crystallization agent, or both, which reduces the shrinkage of the porous structures during firing. The porous structures made therefrom have an open porosity of greater than 70% and reduced shrinkage of less than 10% compared to the green structures prior to firing. Methods for firing the green structures made from the compositions are also disclosed, the firing methods including reducing a temperature ramping rate of the green structures during a crystallization temperature range of the glass of the hollow bodies.

  • Publication number: 20240370521
Abstract: An operator processing method includes obtaining a real-time shape of any to-be-output first tensor by combining in real time one or more micro-operators in a pre-constructed micro-operator library. Then, a micro-operator included in one combination (for example, a combination with optimal performance because different combinations have different performance) is selected for execution. Micro-operators in the micro-operator library are pre-compiled. Therefore, a compiler is not needed. In addition, shapes of the micro-operators are fixed and different, and are used as a “basis” of “shape space”.

  • Publication number: 20240287593
Abstract: The fragmentomic feature of which strand (3? or 5?), if any, overhangs the other at one or both ends double-stranded cell-free DNA fragments can be used to analyze a biological sample. The amount of fragments with the 3? strand overhanging the 5? strand, the 5? strand overhanging the 3? strand, and/or strands being even (blunt) at one or both ends can be used to determine the type of DNA or a level of condition, including cancer and nuclease activity deficiencies. Embodiments described herein allow for determining the amount of these different end modalities, unlike prior techniques. The end modality information can be paired with end motifs to further analyze biological samples. Related systems are also described.
