    Abstract: A method for display control and an electronic device are provided. The method includes: detecting a first touch operation and a second touch operation performed on a touch sensing unit. A first touch direction corresponding to the first touch operation and a second touch direction corresponding to the second touch operation are obtained. A first control instruction is obtained based on the first touch direction and the second touch direction. That is, in embodiments of the disclosure, the effect of a touch instruction response to two successively performed touch operations is different from the effect of a touch instruction response to two separately performed touch operations.

The apparatus includes a display unit and a processor that presents a first key value in a display area on the display unit in response to receiving an input operation performed on a virtual input unit, detects a corrective operation performed on the virtual input unit, determines a second key value different than the first key value in response to detecting the corrective operation, and replaces the first key value with the second key value. In various embodiment, the apparatus includes a memory that stores code executable by the processor.
