Abstract: A wireless communication device includes a removable panel (100), a base cover (200) and a latching assembly (300). The removable panel has a first mounting portion (120). The base cover has a second mounting portion (240) corresponding to the first mounting portion of the removable panel. The latching assembly includes a lacking fastener (320) and a coil spring (340), wherein the latching assembly is effective to nail the removable panel into the housing through the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion. Therefore, it is simple, tight and easy for current invention using the latching assembly to fix the removable panel to the base cover, or to disassemble the removable panel away.

Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a removable panel (12), a latch assembly (20), and a base cover (30). The removable panel defines a first latch hole (1214). The base cover defines a third latch hole (344) corresponding to the first latch hole. The latch assembly includes a knob (21). The knob includes an operating portion (212), a shaft portion (214) extending downwardly from the operating portion, and a latching portion (216) extending from one end of the shaft portion. The latching portion is received through the first latch hole and the third latch hole. When the operating portion of the knob is pressed and rotated, the removable panel is secured to the base cover via the operating portion and the latching portion.

The cam portion forms a pair of peaks (46) and a pair of valleys (44), being engaged with the tabs of the cam follower. The connector extends outside of the housing. The washer is rotatably inserted over the connector, and is fitted in the housing for fixing the hinge components in the housing.
