  • Publication number: 20240129889
Abstract: For example, a method includes collecting orientation data from a mobile device as a user of the mobile device moves within an indoor space, generating orientation estimates for the mobile device from the orientation data, generating distance estimates representing distances of the mobile device to a wireless access point in the indoor space, storing the orientation estimates and the distance estimates together as a series of data blocks, constructing a plurality of trajectory segments from the orientation estimates, identifying identifiers for a last number of trajectory segments, using data blocks corresponding to the last number of trajectory segments, and identifying a predicted place within the indoor space to which the user is expected to go by using the identifiers to traverse a prediction tree, where branches of the prediction tree that are associated with the identifiers define a path that ends at a leaf node corresponding to the predicted place.

  • Publication number: 20240120847
Abstract: A voltage regulator having a multiple of main stages and at least one accelerated voltage regulator (AVR) bridge is provided. The main stages may respond to low frequency current transients and provide DC output voltage regulation. The AVR bridges are switched much faster than the main stages and respond to high frequency current transients without regulating the DC output voltage. The AVR bridge frequency response range can overlap with the main stage frequency response range, and the lowest frequency to which the AVR bridges respond may be set lower than the highest frequency to which the main stages respond.

  • Patent number: 11940898
Abstract: An administrator agent and local worker agents are provided in nodes of a distributed system to support dynamic tracing of runtime data. Trace profiles are associated with the nodes on which the local worker agents reside. The local worker agents monitor the runtime data for an error, and the administrator agent adjusts the trace profile(s) in response to the error(s). The administrator agent sends the adjusted trace profile(s) to the local worker agents, so as to enable trace output data of traces performed by the nodes to be increased or decreased.

  • Patent number: 11924080
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method of identifying packet latency in a software defined datacenter (SDDC) that includes a network and multiple host computers executing multiple machines. At a first host computer, the method identifies and stores (i) multiple time values associated with several packet processing operations performed on a particular packet sent by a first machine executing on the first host computer, and (ii) a time value associated with packet transmission through the SDDC network from the first host computer to a second host computer that is a destination of the particular packet. The method provides the stored time values to a set of one or more controllers to process to identify multiple latencies experienced by multiple packets processed in the SDDC.
