Abstract: A circuit board includes a first surface, a second surface and a number of metal pads. The metal pads are arranged on the first surface and/or the second surface. The metal pads on a same side of the circuit board are arranged at intervals along a first direction. The metal pads include a first ground metal pad, a second ground metal pad and a signal metal pad. The circuit board further includes an adjustment opening. The adjustment opening is located beside the signal metal pad along the first direction and is close to the signal metal pad. The adjustment opening is configured to reduce the dielectric constant of the circuit board to improve high frequency performance of at least part of the metal pads. An electrical connector having the circuit board is also disclosed.

The cable includes a transverse portion fixed to the conductive unit and a longitudinal portion bent from the transverse portion. The second insulating body includes a rear wall. The electrical connector includes a filling cavity between the first insulating body and the rear wall. A connection position of the cable and the conductive unit is located in the filling cavity. The rear wall includes an opening communicating with the filling cavity. The longitudinal portion of the cable at least partially corresponds to the opening, so as to reduce the compression of the cable by the rear wall and improve reliability. The electrical connector includes a filling block filled in the filling cavity. A method for manufacturing the electrical connector is also disclosed.

The tongue plate includes a tongue portion extending into the mating space. The pull strap unlocking device includes a locking piece, and the locking piece includes a locking protrusion. The pull strap connector further includes a pull strap pressing member provided separately from the insulating body and fixed to the rear wall. The pull strap passes through the pull strap pressing member. The pull strap is configured to unlock in a downward direction to move the locking protrusion downwardly. A method of making the pull strap connector is also disclosed.

The insulating body includes a slot. Each conductive terminal includes an abutting portion. The metal casing includes a receiving cavity. When a mating connector is inserted into the receiving cavity and has not yet made contact with the conductive terminals of the electrical connector, a better shielding effect can be achieved. Some of the abutting portions are adapted for electrically connecting with a circuit board, and some of the abutting portions of the conductive terminals are connected with a cable. The metal casing includes a hook portion locking with a lock surface of the circuit board. Therefore, the metal casing can be prevented from detaching from the circuit board in case an external force is applied to pull the cable.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electrical connector connected with a chip connector. The electrical connector comprises a first terminal component, an adapting board, and a cable. The first terminal component comprises a plurality of terminals. The adapting board is disposed at one side of the first terminal component. At least one of the plurality of terminals of the first terminal component is connected with the adapting board. One end of the cable is connected with the adapting board. The other end of the cable is connected with the chip connector. Since the plurality of terminals and the cable of the first terminal component are connected with the adapting board, selectable cables in multiple dimensions would be increased, the soldering process can be simplified, the soldering cost can be reduced, and the stability of the connection between the terminal and the cable would also be enhanced.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a number of first conductive terminals, a number of second conductive terminals, and a number of cables. The first conductive terminals include a number of first signal terminals and a number of first ground terminals. The second conductive terminals include a number of second signal terminals and a number of second ground terminals. The cables include a number of first cables electrically connected with the first signal terminals and a number of second cables electrically connected with the second signal terminals. The first ground terminals and the second ground terminals are connected to each other and are adapted to be electrically connected to a circuit board. With this arrangement, the present disclosure avoids ground return through cables, thereby simplifying the grounding method and improving the stability of signal transmission. The present disclosure also discloses an electrical connector assembly having the electrical connector.

The locking member includes a main body portion and a locking elastic arm. The main body portion includes a top plate. The locking elastic arm extends from the top plate and is used for locking with a mating connector. The pressing block is slidable backwardly under the pulling of the strap, so that the pressing block presses the top plate downwardly, and then the locking elastic arm moves downwardly to realize unlocking. When the unlocking method disclosed in the present disclosure is performed, it is only necessary to ensure that the pressing block slides over the top plate, which improves the reliability of unlocking.

Each cable guide outlet is provided with a guide structure to guide an outlet direction of a cable. Two adjacent cable-bundling units are detachably connected, and through holes of the plurality of cable-bundling units are sequentially communicated.

The substrate comprises an interface connecting end, a transmitting end, and a receiving end. The interface connecting end is electrically connected to the transmitting end and the receiving end. The flexible circuit board comprises a first electrical connecting end and a second electrical connecting end. The first electrical connecting end of the flexible circuit board is electrically connected to the transmitting end of the substrate, and the second electrical connecting end of the flexible circuit board is electrically connected to the receiving end of the substrate, forming a link between the flexible circuit board and the substrate. Just like testing with a direct attach cable (DAC), the link loopback device of the present disclosure can simulate a complete actual link to improve the accuracy of the test effectively.
