Abstract: An inventory management system includes a plurality of corporation client computers (10), a corporation website (13), a server (12), and a database (15). Each corporation client computer provides an interactive user interface for user to perform inventory management. The corporation website is connected to the server, and provides an operating platform for inventory management. The server includes a plurality of function modules for timely managing inventory information, in order to control procurement operations and automatically generate alarm signals when inventory abnormalities occur. The database stores inventory information including material names, material quantities, storage locations, serial numbers for the storage locations, inventory ages, and names of suppliers. A related inventory management method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A price analyzing system (200) for monitoring price changes of materials purchased by an enterprise. The system is employed in a three-tier structure of client computers (101), an application server (102) and a database server (103). The system includes: an information receiving module (201) for receiving information provided by users, the information including a specified time period; a data retrieving module (202) for retrieving price data corresponding to the time period, the retrieved price data including invoice prices, the invoice prices defining a highest price and a lowest price; a Cartesian graph generating module (203) for generating a time-price Cartesian graph by setting an X-axis based on the time period and setting a Y-axis based on the highest price and the lowest price; and a price displaying module (204) for plotting the retrieved price data in the time-price Cartesian graph. A related price analyzing method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A system and method for monitoring material on shop floors is provided. The system displays regional production by country, factory, workshop and line using a two-dimensional graphic or a three-dimensional graphic, and specifies production information for each country, factory, workshop or line in a table. The monitoring system includes at least one subsidiary company database for storing material data for the associated subsidiary company; a central database for storing global material data; a material monitoring system server and an application program on the material monitoring system server, which selects, integrates, classifies, and controls display of data.
