The electromagnetic induction layer with a plurality of induction coils is arranged on the bottom of the base. The block is movably connected to the base by a plurality of elastic members. The emitting coil is fixed to a center of the bottom of the block facing the induction layer. A circuit inside the block provides current to the emitting coil. The block moves with the jerk of the motion sensor when the motion sensor is jerked, causing the elastic members to be distorted. The relative movement between the block and the magnetic induction layer causes more than one of the induction coils generate and output voltage signals according to the change of magnetic flux through the plurality of induction coils caused by the moving of the emitting coil.

The keypad is selectively operable between a touch input mode and a punch input mode. The touch sensitive layers cooperatively constitutes a unitary touch sensitive layer configured for sensing a touching track of a finger or a stylus thereon and controlling a movement track of a cursor or a scroll bar on a display screen based to the sensed touching track. In the punch input mode, the touch sensitive layers function individually and are configured to punch in numbers, letters, or characters. The processing unit is disposed on the circuit board and is configured for switching the keypad to operate between the touch input mode and the punch input mode.

The system combines a simplified hardware front-end interface between the computer and the analog input signals and a very flexible set of software applications running on the host computer. The hardware front end employs an integrated circuit device that is much lower in complexity and cost than the conventional audio/video decoder integrated circuit.
