Abstract: The present application relates to a flame retardant polycarbonate composition and molded parts as well as articles made therefrom. The polycarbonate composition comprises the following components: an aromatic polycarbonate, a rubber-modified vinyl (co)polymer, an aromatic polyester, a reinforcement material, a phosphorus containing flame retardant; and a chain extender. The molded parts made from the polycarbonate composition according to the present invention have improved adhesion with a polyurethane-based coating system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composite article and a manufacturing method thereof. The thermoplastic composite article provided by the present invention comprises a matrix zone and a functional zone. The matrix zone comprises a composite substrate and a coating, the coating covers a surface of the composite substrate, and the coating and the functional zone are obtained by a reaction of a coating composition comprising the following components: one or more polyisocyanates, and one or more H-active polyfunctional compounds, wherein the H-active polyfunctional compounds are preferably one or more polyols. The functional zone comprises a region of the coating which extends into the cut-out section of the substrate.

Abstract: A piezoelectric ignition mechanism of a child-resistant lighter that suitable to any piezoelectric lighter is provided, which includes an energy accumulating conduct tube and a core element. A plexor preferably includes an impact shaft disposed in the energy accumulating conduct tube that is roundness. A guiding shaft is positioned on the energy accumulating conduct tube. A guiding slot assembly that controls the movement of the energy accumulating conduct tube is located on the core element, which is associated with the energy accumulating conduct tube. The guiding slot assembly further has a pair of circular control guiding slots and a pair of ignition guiding slots. The energy accumulating conduct tube is positioned in the guiding slot assembly. The guiding shaft and the impact shaft of the energy accumulating conduct tube are positioned respectively in the control guiding slots and in the ignition slots.
