Abstract: Provided is a method for processing data, which belongs to the field of Internet technologies. The method includes: providing an item identification function in a live streaming room; acquiring item information based on the item identification function; triggering a server to query a matched target item based on the item information; receiving the target item returned by the server; displaying the target item and a post control in the live streaming room; and adding the target item into an item list of the live streaming room in response to a trigger operation on the post control.
