    Abstract: A process for producing a treated, titanium dioxide pigment for use in a polymer composition is provided. The process comprises providing a plurality of titanium dioxide pigment particles, each of the particles having a surface, and depositing an organic treating agent on the surfaces of the pigment particles in an amount in the range of from about 0.2% to about 2% by weight, based on the weight of the pigment particles. The organic treating agent includes at least one medium-chain triglyceride. A treated, titanium dioxide pigment for use in a polymer composition, and a polymer composition, are also provided.
