  • Publication number: 20190115874
Abstract: A difference amplifier circuit can be used to amplify a differential input signal representative of a current flowing through a current sensing element, such as a resistor. In certain applications, a common mode voltage established at an input of the difference amplifier circuit can be greater in magnitude than a supply voltage provided to the difference amplifier circuit. A component of the differential input signal, such as one polarity of the differential signal, can be used to power the difference amplifier circuit. Such powering of the difference amplifier by the component of the differential input signal can be performed selectively, such as when a magnitude of the common mode voltage exceeds the supply voltage or another specified threshold. In this manner, a common mode input voltage capability can be greater in magnitude than a magnitude of a supply input voltage provided to an integrated circuit including the difference amplifier circuit.

  • Publication number: 20190113290
Abstract: A vapor chamber with an inner ridge forming passages, including: a first board having, defined thereon, a heating region, a thermally-insulating region and a condensing region; a second board coupled to the first board; a first wick disposed at the second board or the first board and extending from the heating region to the thermally-insulating region at the very least; and a working fluid. An inner ridge protrudes from the first board toward the second board and has bumps spaced apart by a predetermined distance. Some of the bumps are slender, flank predetermined routes, and are spaced apart to form passages, with the passages extending from the heating region to the condensing region via the thermally-insulating region. Ends of the bumps press against the first wick or the second board.

  • Patent number: 10263706
Abstract: A controller area network (CAN) comprising a plurality of CAN nodes that communicate via a CAN bus that comprises a fiber optical network. The fiber optical network uses a single fiber and a single wavelength for transmit and receive, and comprises a passive reflective optical star. The reflective optical star comprises an optical mixing rod having a mirror at one end. The other end of the reflective optical star is optically coupled to the transmitters and receivers of a plurality of optical-electrical media converters by way of respective high-isolation optical Y-couplers. Each CAN node produces electrical signals (in accordance with the CAN message-based protocol) which are converted into optical pulses that are broadcast to the fiber optical network. Those optical pulses are then reflected back to all CAN nodes by the reflective optical star.

  • Patent number: 10263659
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus and a method for determining a transmission direction of a secondary carrier. A reference carrier of a first secondary carrier is obtained according to network configuration information, and a transmission direction of a subframe on the first secondary carrier is determined according to a transmission direction of a subframe on the reference carrier, so that data transmission directions of the reference carrier and the first secondary carrier are the same at a same moment. A transmission direction of data of the subframes on the first secondary carrier transmitted in a frequency band adjacent to a frequency band of the reference carrier is determined by using the reference carrier, thereby avoiding interference occurring when the adjacent frequency bands simultaneously transmit data of different directions.

  • Publication number: 20190107944
Abstract: Implementations described herein provide a multifinger keyboard that is generated based on detected input. Each key of the multifinger keyboard includes multiple input zones, which are positioned and dimensioned to correlate with a present orientation of a user's fingers. The multifinger keyboard is automatically regenerated to account for drift and other changes in position of a user's hand relative to the keyboard, thereby providing reliable targeting without requiring physical homing indicators. Each input zone may be associated with different output values, such that applying different input types to a single input zone results in different outputs. Potential outputs are determined based on concurrent inputs received at the multifinger keyboard, from which a final output is generated.

  • Publication number: 20190108575
Abstract: A service provider system may implement an enterprise catalog service that manages software products and portfolios of software products on behalf of service provider customer organizations. A graph processing service of the enterprise catalog service may create a graph representation of the enterprise catalog service data, including principals, product listings, portfolios, and constraints (and the relationships between them) that may be used to manage access control, launch contexts, and searches within the enterprise catalog service. A primary (key-value) store may maintain an adjacency list and a secondary index of de-normalized edges. A secondary (document) store may maintain the de-normalized edges. In response to various queries directed to the graph processing service, the service may query the adjacency list or the secondary index. For example, one query may return a list of products that an end user can access, and another may return a count of products within a portfolio.

  • Patent number: 10255385
Abstract: Model optimization approaches based on spectral sensitivity is described. For example, a method includes determining a first model of a structure. The first model is based on a first set of parameters. A set of spectral sensitivity variations data is determined for the structure. Spectral sensitivity is determined by derivatives of the spectra with respect to the first set of parameters. The first model of the structure is modified to provide a second model of the structure based on the set of spectral sensitivity variations data. The second model of the structure is based on a second set of parameters different from the first set of parameters. A simulated spectrum derived from the second model of the structure is then provided.

Abstract: Some examples include backing up and restoring an application state across multiple devices. For example, an instance of a computer application may be executed at a first electronic device and a backup event that occurs in the first electronic device may be determined. The backup event may suggest a backup of application state data and the application state data may represent an application state of the computer application at the backup event. The application state data of the computer application is transmitted to a remote storage service in response to the backup event. A second electronic device can retrieve the application state data from the remote storage service and restore the application state.
