  • Patent number: 10735395
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed assessing reliability between two computing devices. A distributed database may maintain reliability associations between pairs of computing devices. Each reliability association may indicate a particular device has determined (e.g., locally) that another device is reliable. In order to determine an amount of reliability between a first computing device and a second computing device, an ordered combination of the reliability associations may be determined utilizing the distributed database. The ordered combination of reliability associations may identify a reliability path between the first computing device and the second computing device. An amount of reliability may be determined based on the reliability path. An interaction between the devices may be allowed or restricted based at least in part on the amount of reliability between the computing devices.

  • Publication number: 20200236175
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media are disclosed for providing a hand free interaction between a user and a dispenser device. In embodiments of the invention, a mobile communication device and a beacon device associated with the dispenser device (or the dispenser device operating as a beacon device) may perform mutual authentication with a federated platform. Once the entities are authenticated, the user may be allowed to dispense the resource utilizing the dispenser device. Data associated with the interaction and related to the resource dispensed may be provided to the federated platform via the mobile communication device and the interaction data may be recorded. The federated platform may subsequently provide the interaction data to a resource provider to enable the resource provider to conduct a settlement process.

  • Publication number: 20200219517
Abstract: A method includes receiving an utterance of speech and segmenting the utterance of speech into a plurality of segments. For each segment of the utterance of speech, the method also includes extracting a speaker=discriminative embedding from the segment and predicting a probability distribution over possible speakers for the segment using a probabilistic generative model configured to receive the extracted speaker-discriminative embedding as a feature input. The probabilistic generative model trained on a corpus of training speech utterances each segmented into a plurality of training segments. Each training segment including a corresponding speaker-discriminative embedding and a corresponding speaker label. The method also includes assigning a speaker label to each segment of the utterance of speech based on the probability distribution over possible speakers for the corresponding segment.

  • Publication number: 20200202869
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed that enable processing of audio data to generate one or more refined versions of audio data, where each of the refined versions of audio data isolate one or more utterances of a single respective human speaker. Various implementations generate a refined version of audio data that isolates utterance(s) of a single human speaker by processing a spectrogram representation of the audio data (generated by processing the audio data with a frequency transformation) using a mask generated by processing the spectrogram of the audio data and a speaker embedding for the single human speaker using a trained voice filter model. Output generated over the trained voice filter model is processed using an inverse of the frequency transformation to generate the refined audio data.

  • Publication number: 20200192402
Abstract: Location of an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) is determined with respect to a high definition map. On-boards sensors of the ADV obtain a 3D point cloud of objects surrounding the ADV. The 3D point cloud is organized into an ADV feature space of cells. Each cell has a median intensity value and a variance in elevation. To determine the ADV location, a coarse search of a subset of cells in the ADV feature space performed with respect to the high definition map, using a similarity metric that is based on the median intensity and variance in elevation of the candidate cell. When similarity of the first candidate cell is determined, a lookup table of similarity scores is generated and used for determining the similarity score for subsequent candidate cells. Then a fine search is performed on a small subset of candidate cells surrounding the highest similarity score cell.

  • Publication number: 20200092323
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to the utilization of trust tokens to perform secure message transactions between two devices. A trust token transmitted in a message from one device may include first data that is digitally signed by a trust provider computer, and second data that is digitally signed by the device itself. Upon receipt of a message containing a trust token, the recipient may utilize the first data to verify with the trust provider computer that the sender of the message is a trusted party. The trust provider computer may provide the recipient device the public key of the sender. The recipient may utilize the second data and the provided public key to verify that the sender signed the message and that the message is unaltered. These techniques may increase detection of relay, replay, or other man-in-the-middle attacks, decreasing the likelihood that such attacks will be successful.
