In one particular aspect, a method is provided that includes accessing a first set of training data for an intent prediction model, the first set of training data comprising utterances and intent labels; applying one or more positive data augmentation techniques to the first set of training data, depending on the tuning requirements for hyper-parameters, to result in a second set of training data, where the positive data augmentation techniques comprise Entity-Aware (“EA”) technique and a two-stage augmentation technique; combining the first set of training data and the second set of training data to generate expanded training data; and training the intent prediction model using the expanded training data.

    Abstract: Where large transport blocks are rate-matched and transmitted on each PUSCH segment using different redundancy versions (RVs), RV cycling with a small number of PUSCH segments might not cover the whole codeword, and/or rate-matching a large TBS across many PUSCH segments into the resource of a single PUSCH segment may lead to an effective coding rate of the self-decodable redundancy versions that is too high. To avoid these issues, the starting position of one or more RVs may be shifted by setting the starting position of a current RV to be the same as an ending position of a previous position, or by scaling the starting position by a value. Alternatively, these issues may be avoided by setting a new starting position for an RV based on the gap from the end of a previous RV to the start of a current RV.

    Abstract: A microelectronic device with a trench structure is formed by forming a trench in a substrate, forming a seed layer in the trench, the seed layer including an amorphous dielectric material; and forming semi-amorphous polysilicon on the amorphous dielectric material. The semi-amorphous polysilicon has amorphous silicon regions separated by polycrystalline silicon. Subsequent thermal processes used in fabrication of the microelectronic device may convert the semi-amorphous polysilicon in the trench to a polysilicon core. In one aspect, the seed layer may be formed on sidewalls of the trench, contacting the substrate. In another aspect, a polysilicon outer layer may be formed in the trench before forming the seed layer, and the seed layer may be formed on the polysilicon layer.

    Abstract: Some underlying networks such as Low-Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWAN) have limited communication bandwidth and strict requirements on maximum message size. These requirements may pose a challenge for data or resource exchange between two service layer (SL) entities, for example, because resource representations to be exchanged may have too large a size to be supported by the underlying networks. In some cases, traditional data compression algorithms can be used to alleviate this problem to some degree, but it is recognized herein that there are associated computation costs due to compression and decompression that may not be affordable for constrained IoT devices. Various embodiments described herein address this problem, among others by defining a Resource Representation Common Part (RRCP) and storing it at the service layer. In some cases, the RRCP is not transmitted between SL entities, thereby reducing SL message sizes to cater to the constraints of underlying networks.
