    Abstract: Provided is a mobile terminal, which has a first surface and a second surface that are opposite to each other, and a side peripheral surface connecting the first surface with the second surface. A lens and a light-emitting element are provided within the mobile terminal. The light-emitting element is positioned in the mobile terminal. The lens includes a light-outgoing surface that emits light towards the first surface and/or the second surface. The light emitted from the light-emitting element is capable of exiting from the first surface and/or the second surface through the light-outgoing surface of the lens. An orthographic projection region of the light-emitting element on a reference plane is located outside an orthographic projection region of the light-outgoing surface of the lens on the reference plane. The reference plane is a geometric plane perpendicular to a thickness direction of the mobile terminal.
